'Having already claimed victory with the four year old brown mare, Chips McFadden, in the Seventh Feehely Memorial at Sydney's harness racing home, Bankstown Paceway, on Schweppes Sydney Cup Gala Race Night, last Friday, May 18th, 2012, the winning partnership of trainer Ian Wilson and reinsman Jimmy Douglass took home another coveted trophy in the form of the Inaugural Pepsi Max Phil Lopez OBE Memorial,' Bankstown Paceway director Megan Lavender told Harnesslink today.

‘With a mile rate of 2:03:7, the four year old brown horse, Ernie Barrasso NZ, by Artsplace USA out of Village Treasure NZ, won the race named in honour of the late Bankstown mayor and Bankstown Paceway president, Phil Lopez OBE, who also gives his name to main grandstand at Bankstown Paceway,’ Ms Lavender told Harnesslink.
