Windsong Soprano - Strides out for Ron Pierce

Windsong Soprano, a 6-year-old trotting mare who banked $1.23 million in her harness racing career, was sold for $340,000 on Friday (Nov. 9) at the Standardbred Mixed Sale in Harrisburg.

White Birch Farm signed the sales slip for the daughter of Windsong's Legacy-Muscling In, who won 17 times in her racing career, with stakes victories in the $466,488 Peaceful Way, the $327,985 Hudson Filly Trot and a $165,500 division of the Delvin Miller Memorial. She was trained by Bob McIntosh and owned by Susan Grange's Lothlorien.

Windsong Soprano was retired in 2011 and was bred to Kadabra in 2012.
