A feature of the catalogue for the Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale to be held on Sunday, March 23 at the Bathurst Showground is the high percentage of winning and winner-producing dams represented in the sale.
Almost 60 percent of the 186 lots are out of race-winning dams, while 55 percent are from winner-producers.
The catalogue includes yearlings out of Group winners including the Edgar Tatlow winners Katasopos and Lady Titian Lombo, the WA Oaks winner Onassis Legacy and Modern Day (QSBA Breeders Classic).
Other Group heat or metropolitan winners include Jillette, Unspoiled, Ezy Lady, Ambre Solaire, Lite Energy, Nietta Lombo, Spirit Of Tara, Madusa Cam, Lombo Silhouette, Lockton Loaded, Love Nest, Touch Of Jerry and Dana Bromac.
The 186 dams represented have left 245 winners between them including the NSW Sires Stake champion Muddy River, the Vicbred champion Secret Desire, Copper Coast (Qld Paceface Adios Classic), Mighty River (Linden Huntly Little Mem.), Itcan Happen (NSW Country Series), Intuitional (Vic. Cinderella Stakes), Radical Calza (The Lombo), Lagoon Stride (Wagga Derby), Allnight Kiss (Bathurst Sale Graduate), Lombo Limmo (Devonport Cup), Dream Cartier (NSW Breeders Challenge Regional), Passion Stride, Ethon Sun, Goulburn Guy, A Passion For Aces and Ballbarboy.
There’s yearlings out of half-sister to a swag of Grand Circuit and Group 1 performers such as Courage Under Fire, Smooth Satin, Blossom Lady, Tupelo Rose, Just An Excuse, Lanercost, Iam Mr Brightside, Nearea Franco, Saab, Safari, Self Denial, Kathryn Dancer, Ima Spicey Lombo, All Eyes On Me, Star Bonus, Rhapsody In Red, Anvil Vance, Antigua Bay, Gold King, Emmas Only, Burling Game, Indigenous and That’s Mister Ali.
