Look no further than Lot 32 at this year's Australasian Classic Yearling Sale in Auckland on the 20th of February. The only colt in this Sale by the International young harness racing stallion Wishing Stone, 1:51.2 with earnings of $2,359,150.

Wishing Stone raced in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Canada and in the USA and raced against the best wherever he raced.

He was a World Champion at three winning the Kentucky Futurity Elimination in 1:52.3 and the Final in 1:51.2. He won the Copenhagen Cup in Denmark at age five. Other stakes wins include Maxie Lee Memorial, and Cutler Memorial and was stakes placed in eliminations or finals of the Hambletonian, Peter Haughton Memorial, and Elitlopp in Solvalla, Sweden.

Wishing Stone took world record performances on five-eighths and half-mile tracks which shows he was a great gaited trotter and that gives him a great chance to become a proven stallion for down under horsemen.

Lot 32 is Goodman and it is the right name for a colt that has all the pedigree you need to make the top grade here in Australasia.

Goodman is a the second foal and first colt from the unraced Pegasus Spur mare who is a half-sister to 6 winners including Galleons Sunset (T, 1.58.9f, 14 wins 9 places $315,200), The Ultimate Galleon (T, 2.3.6, 6 wins 2 places $62,554, 2006-07 2YO Trotter of the Year) and Kathy Galleon (T, 2.6, 3 wins $39,661, 2004-05 2YO Trotting Filly of the Year.

The first foal, a 2yo filly by Muscle Hill called Star Of Oleysa is a recent impressive qualifier at Pukekohe.

Here is Star Of Oleysa's recent trial

Goodman is the next foal and first colt.

This colt is worth an extra special look by all potential buyers as he is a great looker, super well bred and has a real chance of making a top trotter with Wishing Stone as the Sire. This is a rare chance to invest in a potential super star.
