Also on the fine card was the Prix Adalberta (purse €56,000, 2700 meters, 11 European starters) and the winner was 1.9/1 favorite Spartan Kronos (5m Muscle Hill-Dame Kronos) driven by trainer Conrad Lugauer for owner Ecurie TH&V Weber-Berchtold of Germany. The winner’s dam is a daughter of King Conch-Lamitech Pedro-Sugarcane Hanover and she was registered in Italy. Spartan Kronos covered the course clocked in 1.14.7kr. 1.2/1 favorite Bakchich (5g Quopeck-Pax de Villeneuve) was second for Tony Le Beller and trainer J-M Legros. Third was 92/1 outsider Baileyse (5f Opus Viervil-Lance de Fourches) for driver Matthieu Mottier.
The Prix Mimas (purse €44,000, 2700 meters, 15 starters) produced a close finish with the winner timed in 1.15.5kr, that one being 12/1 Chance (4f Ready Cash-Ramruma) driven by trainer Franck Anne for owner Julien Raffestin. 16/1 Clef de Fa (4f Flueron Perrine-Rivendell) was second for trainer/driver Matthieu Abrivard while third went to a rallying 8/1 Civelle du Caseu (4f Kool du Caux-Darling du Caieu) with Franck Nivard at the lines.
The Prix Cygnus (purse €50,000, 2850 meters, 16 starters) this evening went to 1.13.4kr timed and 21/1 odds Bonne Copine (5f Love You-Joie Baroque) with J-M Bazire driving for trainer Thierry Raffegeau and owner J-Y Roze. 5.4/1 Balledonia (5f Romandi-Noonlight Charms) was next to the line for J-Ph Monclin with 2.3/1 Beauty Princess (5f Ludo de Castelle-Princess Foot) home third with teamster Mathieu Mottier and trainer/owner D.M. Mottier.
