Yankee Glide is being retired from stallion duty

Kentuckiana Farms announces the retirement of Yankee Glide from active stud duty.

Yankee Glide (Valley Victory – Gratis Yankee, 3, 1:55.1M, $506,904). At 2, winner of an elim. and final of the Peter Haughton Memorial, leg and final of the New Jersey Sire Stakes. At 3, winner of the Zweig Memorial and Hambletonian elim.; second in a Kentucky Futurity heat.

It was in the breeding shed where Yankee Glide made his greatest impact as a regular at the top of all stallion categories throughout his stallion career.

To date, his offspring have earned $93,463,131 and have averaged over $89,000 per starter.

Yankee Glide has produced nine millionaires including Passionate Glide ($2,060,447), Glidemaster ($1,968,023), Mystical Sunshine ($1,793,755), Falls For You ($1,311,152) and Manofmanymissions ($1,215,000) to name a few.

His offspring consistently topped the yearling sales with 18 crops having sold for over $40 million.

Yankee Glide has also made his mark as a prolific broodmare sire, with his daughters producing the likes of Market Share ($3,792,101), Shake It Cerry ($2,786,104), Flanagan Memory ($1,609,330), and Lifetime Pursuit ($1,065,586) to name a few.
