Reigning premier harness racing trainer Ben Yole made his intentions concerning this season's premiership quite clear by preparing half the card on the eight-race program at the Luxbet Racing Centre in Launceston last night.
Ebonyallstarzzz started the ball rolling in race two with an emphatic all-the-way win in a C2-C3 event over 1680 metres with Mark Yole aboard, much to the delight of punters as she started the $2 favourite.
Sutter Man produced a mirror effort in a C4-C5 (2200m) also with Mark Yole in the sulky and in the following race outsider All I Can Be ($7.10) made the most of the pole position to take out the Tasmanian Transport Show Cup with Gareth Rattray in the cat.
All I Can Be powered to the line to score from Karalta Dazzler and Chief Destroyer.
Yole closed the program by preparing Aitutaki to win the Carlton Draught C1 Pace over 2200 metres and he snared the quinella with Outlaw motored into second place.
Yole's haul took his season win tally to nine to be five clear of Tod Rattray.
He won last season's premiership, his first, with 108 winners that was 67 more than his nearest rival Todd Rattray.
