Cammikey covered the back half in a brisk 54.4 and had just enough to score narrowly in Wednesday's $18,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Pace at the harness racing meeting at The Meadows.
Cammikey enjoyed a 1-length lead over the pocket-sitting Easy Again at the top of the stretch, but Easy Again brushed through the Lightning Lane to erase most of that margin.
Cammikey dug in and held off Easy Again by a nose for Brian Zendt in 1:51, with Royal Heart third.
Bill Zendt trains Cammikey, a 4-year-old homebred son of Somebeachsomewhere-Always Cam who extended his career bankroll to $252,037, for Cam Land LLC.
It was one of three wins on the 13-race card for Brian Zendt.
