WASHINGTON, PA, April 28, 2014 -- Certified Ideal pulled the pocket at the half and rolled to a convincing victory in Monday's $22,500 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.
Nosed out last week by Do Me Honor, Certified Ideal found herself behind Do Me Honor after the two dueled for the early lead. Whenmoved Certified Ideal, the 4-year-old daughter of -Areba's Last blew by Do Me Honor, widened her lead and scored in 1:52.4 on a "good" surface.
Do Me Honor was a game second, 2-1/2 lengths back, with Phone Terror third.trains Certified Ideal, who extended her career bankroll to $178,392, and owns with Mike Novosel, Jr., Tom Pollack and James Walton.
