Tony Hall won five races including feature with Certified Ideal

WASHINGTON, PA, May 5, 2014 -- Certified Ideal overpowered a distinguished field for the second straight week, capturing Monday's $18,000 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at the Meadows in front-end fashion.

Certified Ideal comfortably controlled the fractions for Tony Hall, and when she clicked off the final quarter in 27.4, she assured the only battle would be for minor spoils. The 4-year-old daughter of Western Ideal-Areba's Last scored in 1:51.1, 1-1/2 lengths better than the rallying Phone Terror. Tremor Hanover finished third.

Randy Bendis trains Certified Ideal, who extended her career bankroll to $187,392, and owns with Mike Novosel, Jr., Tom Pollack and James Walton.

Hall drove five winners on the 15-race card while Dave Palone fashioned a three-bagger.
