Hanover Raceway will feature twelve races this Saturday including the $75,100 Dream of Glory final, five divisions of 3 year old Filly Pacers in the Ontario Sires Stakes, and two Preferred 3 races.
This is the 14th annual Dream of Glory trot and the field includes new Track Record holder Hemi Seelster who won his elimination in 1:56.4, breaking the previous record set by Millionaire trotter Abbey Road C in the very first Dream of Glory in 2002.
Hemi Seelster is trained by John Bax of Campbellville, and driven by Steve Byron who have won the Dream of Glory twice before. The pair won the 2009 final with Augusto, and won again in 2012 with Summer Indian.
Summer Indian came back the next year and won a Match Race against 2011 Dream of Glory Winner Traverse Seelster.
The Ontario Sires Stakes field includes 2 Gold Horses dropping down to the Grassroots level and several horses in a battle to try and gain points to make the field for the OSS Superfinals this Fall.
