WASHINGTON, PA, March 31, 2014 -- Foxy Lady zipped to the front, backed down the second quarter and never had an anxious moment thereafter as she rolled to an easy victory in Monday's $18,000 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

After Foxy Lady wrested the early lead from Tremor Hanover, Dave Palone gave her a second-panel breather in 29. The 6-year-old daughter of Real Desire-Judy is a Fox jogged from there, downing Tremor Hanover by 1/2 length in 1:53.2. Angelic Star was a ground-saving third.

Ron Burke trains Foxy Lady, who now boasts $710,122 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, JJK Stables and Phillip Collura. Palone drove four winners and Aaron Merriman three on the 15-race card.
