WASHINGTON, PA, April 1, 2014 -- Holy Halibut easily overcame post 8 in Tuesday's $20,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows, rolling to his third straight victory in 1:54.3.

Holy Halibut zipped to the lead for Dave Palone and had little trouble repelling the first-over thrust of Tamarind. The 6-year-old Holy Guacamolie-CR Gone Fishin gelding defeated the pocket-sitting Trustworthy Kid by 1/2 length while Call To Post found late racing room for show. Ron Burke trains Holy Halibut, who extended his career bankroll to $235,145, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Michelle Yanek.

Mike Wilder drove five winners on the 15-race card.
