Harness Racing action is back this Saturday night, as Pepsi provides racing fans with up to 2,000 dollars in prizes. Among the items up for grabs will be backyard patio furniture and a BBQ.

There will be an extra treat for Hanover Fans on Saturday as the Miniature Horses return.

The 32-36 inch high horses will trot for one quarter mile around the hanover oval.  The event has been a fan favorite over the past several years.

The Coach House restaurant opened on Monday, and will host its 1st night, which was always popular in the previous restaurant location. Patrons will enjoy the new  dining experience which will include a full menu as well as daily specials.

GM Gord Dougan says if all goes well, our simulcast area will also re-open in its new location on the newly expanded Hanover Slots Floor this weekend. The expansion includes 63 new games including Roulette and Blackjack, as well as a simulcast area on the gaming floor.

Dougan says it’s hoped that the integration of Horse Racing and Gaming will be good for both sides.

Post time Saturday night is 7:15pm.
