The first division of the 3 YO colt/gelding trotters started the wagering card of the night. Kandy Korn () took the long way to the wire when Ocean Downs leading driver pulled before the half, finally catching Cal Me Hal in a photo finish in 1:59.2. Bruce and Tanya Schadel own the colt and Bruce is also the trainer.
The third race on the card was the second division of the trotting colt/geldings. Reins man Vic Kirby rated Winbak Charles M to a perfect trip, the4 half in .59, a mile in 1:58.1 for owner - trainer Edwin Gannon Jr.
In race eight the final stake of the night was the lone division of 3 YO filly pacers. Driver Vic Kirby pulled Lounge Act (Cam's Card Shark) going up the back side and ground his way to a half length victory over Aint No Maybe So, stopping the timer in 1:55.2. Vic Kirby also trains Lounge Act for owner Keith Pippi.
