WASHINGTON, PA, June 19, 2015 -- Buried behind a wall of horses, Sand Tilly Lace found room deep in the Lightning Lane to score a 10-1 upset harness racing victory in Friday's $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Sand Tilly Lace got away second for Dan Charlino but was shuffled to fourth at the top of the stretch. Charlino guided the 4-year-old daughter of Sand Shooter-Sara Toots to the Lightning Lane, where she outkicked Phone Terror by a head in 1:52.4 on a "good" surface. Bad Glamour Girl was third. With her fourth-place check, Do Me Honor soared over $600,000 in career earnings.

Ron Burke trains Sand Tilly Lace, who extended her career bankroll to $184,988, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.

Elsewhere on the card, Rip This Joint won at first asking in 1:55.1, fastest this year by a 2-year-old pacing colt on a five-eighths-mile track. Dave Palone piloted the son of Western Terror-Cheryl Hanover for trainer Mike Palone and owner Lone Wolf table.

Tony Hall drove three winners on the 12-race program.
