On Sunday afternoon, Let’s Go Higher (Cole Muffler) continued her stretch as the most consistent participant in the Fillies and Mares Open at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

The Heidi Rohr-trained mare was the Filly and Mare Pacer of the Year last year at the Spa and after going wire-to-wire in Sunday’s $17,000 Open, now owns three victories this season in the top race for distaff pacers.

Shawn Gray sat behind Let’s Go Higher as they made every pole a winning one before stopping the timer in 1:53.4, holding off a late bid from the favored It’s A Miracle (Bruce Aldrich Jr) who ended up as the runner up.

So Nice (Billy Dobson) earned the show spot behind the six year old Let’s Go Higher who owns a share of the track record for Aged Pacing Mares after prevailing in 1:52.1 on June 1st.
