HARRINGTON, Del. - J&M Racing's Embassy Seelster ($16.40, Allan Davis) won her Harrington Raceway debut Tuesday with a 1:52.3 score in the $13,000 Mares Open II.

The Doug Lewis-trainee had been racing at the Meadowlands and Pocono Downs before her Delaware debut.

The 4-year-old Modern Art mare battled gamely first over and eventually wore down pacesetter My Ideal Hanover in the lane and a gaining Springforth at the wire for the win.

Springforth was second, with My Ideal Hanover third. It was the second win of the year for Embassy Seelster and one of three driving wins on the program for Davis.

George Dennis had a driving double.
