Mike Casalino and trainer Dylan Davis' Four Staces, with Corey Callahan in the bike, came into his own late last meet, and now seems nearing top form again, as he meets Janet Hudson and JoAnn Looney-King's Star Messenger and Tim Tetrick, a winner of three of his last seven starts. Too Darn Hot was a close second last week for trainer driver Jason Lynch and Jim Jacobs and gets the rail in the field of eight. Although starting from post 8, owner-trainer Kathleen Brewer's Quick Shot spent much of his last start on the outside without cover, yet still missed winning by one-length.
Bill Sartin and Mark Salerno's Focus Power has an impressive record, 21 of 26 starts finishing in the first three. Allan Davis will drive. The other starters are R.J.Thomas' Dash Point Hanover with Sean Bier, who should profit the week stating on the front. Gideon Stables' Nuclear Dragon with Jonathan Roberts, Owner-trainer Brenda Teague's homebred Fight The Truth with Montrell Teague has been racing tougher foes recently, but must overcome post position 7.
