Freehold, NJ — Wiggle It Jiggleit returned to the No. 1 spot in harness racing's Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll following last Saturday’s world-record-equaling 1:48 win in the Battle of the Brandywine at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono.
Pinkman, who went off stride in the Colonial Trot, dropped to No. 2 while Mission Brief, who won the Moni Maker Stakes at The Meadows on Friday, jumped from fifth to third.
JL Cruze, who saw a 12-race win streak ended in the Sebastian K Invitational, fell to fourth in the rankings. State Treasurer advanced a spot to fifth thanks to his track-record performance in Sunday’s Roll With Joe.
Newcomers to the Top 10 are Swedish invader D’One, who made it 2-for-2 in the U.S. with a victory in the Muscle Hill Stakes on Friday at Vernon Downs, and Reynolds Stakes division winner Southwind Frank.
