Race two on the Friday evening harness racing card was the final of the Bea Farber series for trotters that were non-winners of $30,000 lifetime through the end of March. Favored was I Could Care Less for Keith Crawford. Leaving from the outside for the lead was Energy Bar as she covered the opening quarter in :28.3 and the half in :58.0. On the turn, I Could Care Less ranged up to contend. After three quarters in 1:28.1, Energy Bar and I Could Care Less were head and head into the stretch. After a lengthy battle, I Could Care Less emerged a length on top, winning in 1:57.4. Energy Bar finished second while Daisy Lou Duke held third. I Could Care Less was owned, trained, and driven by Keith Crawford.
Race nine was the final for the Daryl Busse series for three-year-old trotters that were non-winners of $10,000 lifetime through the end of March. Favored was Totally Pazzazzed with Mike Oosting in the bike. Longshot Picky Picky Valor left for the lead through the quarter in :30.2. After a half in 1:00.4, Picky Picky Valor led the field into the turn. Covering three quarters in 1:30.1, Picky Picky Valor was challenged by Bands Houdini and Totally Pazzazzed. Slipped through along the inside in the lane was Bands Houdini and driver Kyle Husted as they drew clear for the victory. Totally Pazzazzed finished second while Picky Picky Valor held third. Final time for the mile was 1:59.1. Bands Houdini is owned by trainer Steve Searle and Flacco Family Farms, LLC.
