With no live tickets remaining in either the Late Pick 5 or Late Pick 4 on Thursday night at Hawthorne, a pair of carryovers lead into the Friday evening harness racing card.
The carryover for the Late Pick 5 at Hawthorne on Friday night is $6,420 while the Late Pick 4 carryover is $7,278. For the Friday evening card, Hawthorne Race Course, and the United States Trotting Association are teaming up with the Strategic Wagering Program to offer guarantees on both pools Friday evening.
The Late Pick 5, beginning on race 8, will offer a $25,000 guaranteed pool, including the carryover from Thursday. The Late Pick 4, beginning on race 9, will offer a $30,000 guaranteed pool.
Both wagers are a $.50 minimum wager and each carries a low 15% takeout.
