Selena (Anythings Possible) made her return to Saratoga a winning one on Wednesday afternoon. The Heidi Rohr-trained trotter set her lifetime mark at the Spa late last season with a 1:57.1 score and wasted no time returning to the Saratoga Casino and Raceway harness racing winner’s circle after a 1:58 victory for harness racing driver Stephane Bouchard.
Selena had two winning qualifiers as preps for Wednesday’s win which was one of three on the card for last year’s leading trainer Heidi Rohr. Selena returned $9.10 to win while besting longshot Gliding To Glory (Austin Siegelman) who was the runner up and Duluth (Jim Devaux) who earned the show spot.
Live racing continues on Thursday at Saratoga with another twilight race card beginning at 4:00pm.
