Shes Pukka N won back to back starts in the Mares Open harness racing pace at Dover Downs on Wednesday night.

Shes Pukka N and driver Tony Morgan left alertly as did Anytime N and Soho Burning Love A.  They were both parked to the quarter.  Morgan then released Anytime N to the quarter in 26.3.  Soho Burning Love A, normally a closer, was parked to the quarter and finally cleared for the lead at the half in 54.  Anytime N respectfully took back to second.

Soho Burning A was in full flight as Skateboard Chic and Alan Davis grinded 1st up. They reached the three quarters in 1:22 flat.

In the stretch, Anytime N and Montrell Teague chose to ease out of the pocket.

Tony Morgan and Shes Pukka N chose to remain on the rail from third.  Morgan’s intuition proved to be the winning strategy as Shes Pukka N won by 3/4 of a length in 1:50.2.  She paid $11.20 for the win.

Shes Pukka N (Betterthancheddar)  is owned by Peter Paul Venturini and trained by Brian Malone.

Anytime N raced well and finished 2nd.for trainer Josh Green. Soho Burning Love A,  the 3/5 betting favorite, was 3rd for trainer Jim King Jr. Tim Tetrick was in the bike.

Tony Morgan and Tim Tetrick each won three races on the betting card.

Racing resumes on Thursday at Dover Downs.  Post time is 4:30 pm.
