EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Guests at the Meadowlands Racetrack this weekend can dine, win gift cards in time for the holidays, donate toys to children in need this season, and of course, watch and wager on world-class harness racing.
On Thursday, December 12th rewards club members can earn double points on all live harness racing wagers and two lucky members will win back their wagering losses on Meadowlands live wagers. Not a member? Sign up at the Players Club desk inside the Clubhouse Lobby.
Friday's $29.95 Pink Restaurant buffet features a NY-style Pastrami carving station, manicotti marinara, ginger-garlic grilled swordfish, chicken Milanese, and mushroom risotto. The themed station is Mexican fiesta and is highlighted by classic Mexican snacks plus tasty deep-fried churros with chocolate sauce.
On Friday fans can enter to win gift cards to their favorite department store through the night. Entry forms will be available in the live racing program and at the Players Club desk.
Saturday's $39.95 buffet has a herb pork loin on the carving station as well as Norwegian cod, slow-roasted sirloin tips, Tuscan lemon chicken, tortellini arrabiata. Reservations can be made by calling 201-The-BigM.
On Saturday, on-track fans are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy for the track's annual toy drive. NY Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa & the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots will be onsite collecting all the toys 6:30 – 8:30pm. All collected toys will be donated to Harlem Grown. FOX5 Sportscaster Tina Cervasio will emcee the event and fans will be able to grab a selfie with Enunwa.
