WASHINGTON, PA, June 5, 2014 -- When the sensational California Chrome tries to win the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 7, to complete the elusive Triple Crown, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will offer a full day of fun fan activities to make the historic occasion especially memorable.

The Meadows, of course, will simulcast the Belmont Stakes at all locations. On track, The Meadows will offer a 13-race live card featuring a $199,000 Pennsylvania Sires Stake. The event will bring together some of the finest 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers in harness racing and, in that way, will serve as a preview for next month's Delvin Miller Adios Presented by Coors Light, the track's signature race.

The festivities also include:

Eliminations for the 2014 Miss Adios Swimsuit USA Final, which is scheduled for Friday night, July 18, at The Meadows. The competition will take place on track.

Musical entertainment including Girlz With Black Hats (track apron, approximately 4 PM), the Jason Craig Band (New Castle, 3 PM) and Stampede (Harmar, 3 PM).

Coors specials at all locations.

Estimated post time for the Belmont is 6:50 PM, but fans also will be able to watch, enjoy and wager on the entire Thoroughbred card from Belmont, which features a $1 million-guaranteed, all-stakes Pick 6. The Belmont Day program will offer $8 million in purses and is expected to be the second richest day of racing in the United States in 2014, surpassed only by the Breeders' Cup in November.

California Chrome is seeking to become the first to capture the Triple Crown since Affirmed achieved it in 1978. Since then, 12 horses have won both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness but couldn't complete the Triple Crown. The most recent were Big Brown, who suffered a disastrous 2008 Belmont and failed to finish the race, and I'll Have Another, who was scratched from the 2012 Belmont with an injury.

All Meadows locations will offer advance wagering on the Belmont Stakes beginning Friday, June 6.
