  • Guide to Medical Staff and all Public Service Providers on the Dying & Death of a Muslim Patient or Victim
The objective of this guide is to provide non-Muslim Service Providers with elementary information of how to deal with the dying and death of a Muslim Patient or victim in their care. The basic formalities suggested in this guide will ease the additional pain of the family who may be absent at the time of death of their loved one. The ideal situation when a person is dying is to have their loved ones present. In the absence of their kin the observance of some of the last rites to the dying person will be a great consolation for the bereaved family to know that their loved one had parted from this earth with some of the rituals that is befitting a Muslim person on their deathbed.
“To ALLAH (GOD) we belong and to HIM is our return” (Qur’an 2:156)
