Our mare and foal facility is located on over 50 acres of ryegrass pasture in the Waikato at 673 State Highway 1, Cambridge. We have state of the art equipment and the expertise to optimise the fertility of your mare.
We also have the facilities to advance the onset of cyclicity in mares, which is particularly useful in Thoroughbreds, by putting the "mares under lights" for 6-8 weeks prior to start of the breeding season. This management option can also be combined with hormone treatments to further improve the efficiency of the regimen.
The stallion semen collection centre is now also based at 673 State Hwy 1, RD 4 Cambridge. This site is closer to the airport and will streamline our services to you. For all stallion or semen enquiries, please contact our office on 07 827 9312 or info@equibreed.co.nz.
