The new season's racing is underway and Stonewall Stud has bred it's first winner for the year with 4yo gelding DANCE BAND (Badlands Hanover - DANCE CARD) winning at the Rangiora meeting on the 15th August. DANCE BAND left maiden status having been placed in his previous 5 starts, this was his 9th career start. Our congratulations to his owners and Trainer Nigel McGrath. DANCE CARD is due to foal to Woodlands Stud leading stallion Bettors Delight this season.
Racemare Cruiser Franco has been sold to Australian interests and will race from the Fitzpatrick stable in NSW.
The 4yo gelding KEEP SAFE (Safely Kept - WOODPECKER) won his first race for Trainer/Driver Clark Barron at the Invercargill HRC Meeting on the 19th August.
The 3yo gelding MCARMBRO (McArdle - ARMBRO RESISTANCE) qualified at Alexandra Park on the 31st August for Trainers Barry Purdon & Scott Phelan. MCARMBRO is owned by one of the successful Auckland Trotting Club Syndicates.
