Ecurie Saint Hilaire owns the now 10 time winner for €294,780 earned. The 3/5 favorite and 50 meter handicapped Aubrion du Gers (8g Memphis du Rib-J’arrive du Gers) rallied on the pegs for owner/trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire, the 31st career win for the now winner of €1,488,372. 47/1 Utile Lebel (10g Biesolo) was third for trainer/driver Christophe Feyte after racing at the front, ahead of 24/1 Baronne de Bapre (7f Prodigious) for Frederic Closier and 5.4/1 Cavalleria (6f Prodigious) teamed by trainer Nicolas Ensch, this one penalized 25 meters. February 18, 2017 - Saturday at Agen la Garenne was the Prix de Foulayronner (purse €38,000, 225 meters) and the harness racing regional champion and even-money favorite Brissac (6m Ni Ho Ped d’Ombree-Jannibelle) held on for victory in record time 1.12.7kr for the distance. Jean-Alain Eliphe was at the controls, he also owner/trainer. 10.2/1 Very Very Fast (8g Quaro-Nocturne de Bresse) was a very very fast closing second for Benjamin Goetz. 2.4/1 Shark Attack (9g April Perfect-Step By Step) was third with trainer Mario J.W. Timoko (9m Imoko-Kiss Me Coulonces) returned from stallion duty to win today’s harness racing Gr. II Grand Prix du Sud Quest (purse €200,000, 2575 meters autostart, 11 starters) at Agen La Garenne.
