Flyhawk Falina, a two-year-old filly by Cash Hall, out of the El Paso Kash mare Nowerland Nanette, won her $37,862 division of the New York Sire Stakes in 2:03 here at Buffalo Raceway Wednesday night (July 3).

The New York Sire Stakes season got underway at Batavia Downs Casino on Friday night (July 31), in front of a large harness racing crowd thanks to perfect weather in Western New York and a baseball cap giveaway, co-sponsored by the Harness Horse Breeders of New York.
