This day was no exception in FR as action took place at Cordemais (a community in western FR Loire-Atlantique with population of about 2,760). The fine racing program included the monte Prix de Nort-Sur-Erdre (purse €25,000, 2825 meters, 17 European starters) that resulted in a 1.14.6kr victory for Vic du Bossis (7g Chef du Chatelet-Pretty du Bossis. Antoine Dabouis rode the Olivier Raffin trainee owned by Ecurie du Bossis. October 24, 2016 - 8.9/1 Amour de la Vie (6g Diamant Gede-La Vie Est Belle) won today’s Quinte+ Prix de Pomarez (purse €52,000, 2875 meters, 18 starters) at Enghien, racing barefoot and reined by Yoann Lebourgeois for harness racing breeder/trainer Didier Brohier. Timed in 1.15.8kr the winner defeated 9.1/1 Vision Fromentro (7g Ganymede-Princesse Natacha) with Dominik Locqueneux driving for Ecurie Anders Van Dapperen HB and trainer Jorgen Westholm. 45/1 Al Capone (6g Jade Bocain-Carica de Mareuil) landed third for Mathieu Abrivard. Also at Enghien was the Prix du Palais Royal (purse €68,000, 2875 meters, 16 starters) with the win earned by 1.14.8kr timed and 3.1/1 odds Ceylan Dairpet (4g Ouragan de Celland-Rosy MIP). Vincent Lacroix trains this five year-old daughter of Muscles Yankee-Lindy’s Holiday that raced barefoot at 5.2/1 odds. 7.2/1 Cedea  Josselyn (4f Love You-Dea Josselyn) took second for trainer/driver J-M Bazire.
