January 3, 2015 - Several Crack Series events took place on Prix de Bourgogne Day at Paris-Vincennes, for sulky and monte finalists, Four year-olds Cloane du Vivier and Caorches, both females, were victorious. Summaries of these events, among them blanket finishes, are shown below. The Prix Django Riff Crack Series (purse €60,000, 2175 meters, nine monte starters) for female 2105 three year-olds went to wide side drifter 1.9/1 Cloane du Vivier (4f Repeat Love-Royale du Vivier) for jockey Eric Raffin, trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner/breeder Jean Yves Lucuyer. Timed in 1.13.5kr this winner bested 9.5/1 Celina Pollca (4f Kool du Caux-La Canella) and Anthony Barrier for owner/trainer Joel Van Eeckhaute. 13/1 Codie de Beaulieu (4f Oyonnax-Melody d’Arcy) was home third. 1.6/1 favorite Caoeches (4f Goetmals Wood-Queensbury) took the Prix Cristal Money Crack Series (purse €36,000, 2100 meters autostart, 10 starters – females) timed in 1.14.7kr. The Gr. I Criterium Continental (with a Prix d’Amerique invitation) timed in 1.10.5kr over the 2100 meter autostart course. The purse was €240,000 and the win increased Bold Eagle's career earnings to €997,800 with this being his 19th victory in 22 lifetime starts. The 3/10 favorite was again driven by Franck Nivard for Sebastien Guarato and owner Pierre Pilarski. Italy's Specialess (4m Ganymede-Enna Dra) was second for Roberto Andreghetti, trainer Fabrice Souloy and Ecurie Nevi at 10/1 with 18.5/1 Bird Parker (4m Ready Cash-Belisha) third for teamster Yoann Lebourgeois, trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Elisabeth Allaire. 63/1 Bolero Love (4m Love You-Orelady) landed fourth for Gabriel Gelormini, trainer Guarato and Antonio De Sousa, the owner. 18/1 Conlight As (4m Conway Hall-Delight As) was fifth for last minute driver change to Christophe Martens, Svante Bath trainer and Olof Brodin AB trainer. 13/1 Billie de Montfort set an early wicked pace and then faded badly midway in the final bend to finish 10th. Saturday at Kincsem Park their featured Feiser Emlekverseny (purse 600,000Huf, 2400 meters autostart) went to the fast Sanger MS (5g Victory Scream-Samba MS) driven by  part-owner Laszlo Koszegi-Kovacs, along with Pimri Bt, and trained by Imre Fazekas. December 13, 2015 - Today’s Prix Octave Douesnel (purse €120,000. Gr. II for four year-olds, 2700 meters, eight starters) went impressively to the 3/10 favored Bold Eagle (4m Ready Cash-Reethi Rah Jet) for teamster Franck Nivard, trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Pierre Pilarski clocked in 1.12.9kr for a three-length victory. 4.3/1 Briac Dark (4m Prince Gede-Queen des Charmes), an early pacesetter, was second for trainer/driver Franck Anne and owner Guy Barou. Third went to 51/1 Boeing du Bocage (4m Scipion du Goutier-Lova du Cap Vert) reined by Pierre Vercruysse for trainer Franck Leblanc. Bird Parker (4m Ready Cash-Belisha) landed fourth. Bold Eagle was first to the lead and then settled in a pocket spot until sprinting out in upper stretch (fractions 1.14.3kr at 1500, 1.13kr at 1000 and 500). Bold Eagle could be one to watch in the 2016 Prix d’Amerique despite being age five at that time. The Eagle won today for the seventh time in 2015 in just eight appearances. Belina Josselyn (4f Love You-Lezia Josselyn) and J-M Bazire was the upset (odds 6/1) winner of the Gr. II Prix Ariste Hemard (purse €120,000, 2700 meters, 11 four year-old female starters) rallying to defeat 7/10 favorite Billie de Montfort (4f Jasmin de Flore-Quismy de Montfort) handled by Eric Raffin for trainer Sebastien Guarato. 53/1 Bambina Magic (4f Nuage de Lait-Rive Magic) was third for Mathieu Mottier. Billie was away to an early lead and then relinquished to 3.6/1 odds Blue Grass that led until making a disqualifying miscue in mid-stretch. Billie was boxed on the pegs until driver Raffin vacated the pocket in early stretch, could not find an opening, and then darted back inside but could not out close the winner. As Billie moved back inside Blue Grass went off-stride. The race time was 1.14.2kr off lazy fractions (1.15.2kr at 1500, 1.14.5kr at 1000, 1.15.1kr at 500 meters to go) The €85,000 purse Prix de Seiches-sur-le-Loir (distance 2175 meters, 12 monte starters) went to 3.1/1 Vincent des Obeaux (6g Derby du Gite-Leila) ridden by Julien Raffestan for the training/owning pair of Alain and Arnard Chavatte. August 22, 2015 - Norway’s Lionel (5m Look de Star-Aurora Sign-Smok’n Lantern) took today’s Paris-Vincennes featured Gr. III Prix de Provence (purse €85,000, 2700 meters, eight European starters) with Franck Nivard up for harness racing trainer Fabrice Souloy and owner Goran Antonsen. The even-money winner was timed in a sharp 1.12.9kr to defeat Sweden’s  5/2 odds Dante Boko (5g Going Kronos-Margherita Rosa) that raced well on the front for Dominik Locqueneux, driving for trainer Lutfi Kolgjini and owner Stall Be The Best, and that effort was half-length short of victory. 7/2 Vaisman (6m Memphis du RibIula du Donetil) was a distant third for owner/trainer/driver Franck Anne ahead of Italy’s 18/1 Prince di Poggio (6m Varenne-Moon Shadow) and teamster Eric Raffin.
