A pair of $35,000 Hambletonian Oaks eliminations were carded on Saturday (July 30) at Meadowlands Racetrack. Crys Dream trotted past stablemate Hey Mister in deep stretch to win the first elimination in 1:54.4 with harness racing driver Luc Ouellette. Crys Dream is trained by Henrik Holsten for owners Reve Avec Moi Dreamwithme Stable, Deo Volente Farms, the TLP Stable and Jerry Silva.

Local harness racing filly Chandelle kicked off an evening of Ontario Sires Stakes action at Kawartha Downs on Saturday, circling her hometown oval in 2:03.3 to earn her first Grassroots trophy.

Trot Insider has learned that 2011 Elegantimage winner Crys Dream has received a 90-day suspension following a positive test from the June 18 stakes race at Mohawk Racetrack. According to Ontario Racing Commission judge Tom Miller, the test result was received by the ORC yesterday (Tuesday) and harness racing trainer Henrik Hollsten was notified at that time.

As expected, Crys Dream and harness racing driver Luc Ouellette made it look easy in the $519,000 Elegantimage Stakes for three-year-old filly trotters, Saturday at Mohawk Racetrack, part of the undercard on Pepsi North America Cup night.

A pair of $35,000 Elegantimage eliminations took place Friday night at Mohawk Racetrack with Crys Dream and Beatgoeson Hanover finding the harness racing winner's circle. With a scratch of Fitness Girl, a field of six contested the first elimination.

The fields for the Elegantimage, Fan Hanover and Goodtimes Trot eliminations have been determined. The harness racing finals will be contested at Mohawk on the same night as the $1.5 million Pepsi North America Cup on June 18.

A pair of harness racing divisions of the Casual Breeze squared off tonight at Mohawk Racetrack with Crys Dream and Lukes Sophie taking top honours. In the first elimination, after a recall, Lukes Sophie cleared past an :28.3 opening panel for driver Jody Jamieson and never looked back to stop the timer in 1:54.
