The Hakkan Wallner Memorial (1,000,000SEK first prize, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters, a Breeders Course event) produced a 26.6/1 upset harness racing winner in 1.11.9kr timed Aetos Kronos (3m Bold Eagle-Will of a Woman-Muscle Yankee) reined by Johan Untersteiner for trainer Jerry Riordan and owned by Team Snyder AB et.al.   This colt rallied from far back, starting the final turn, to defeat Acciaio (3m Love You- Light my Candle-Garland Lobell) reined by Orjan Kihlstrom for trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro. Third was Axl Rose (3m Love You-Linda di Casei-Uronometro) reined by trainer Gocciadoro that was seven for eight entering this race.   He engaged in a driver inspired battle with pacesetter and undefeated Upset Face (3m Joke Face-Iona LB-Supergill) that was a weakening fourth with Lutfi Kolgjini driving. From post one he was first to the lead and refused to relinquish quickly advancing Axl Rose. This mare took the lead before the first 500 meters and lengthened the advantage over pocket positioned Viking Grace (4f Johnny William-Catch Dream-American Winner) that was second for Jos. Verbeeck and trainer Riina Rekila. Third in a photo for second was Fanny Chenal (4f Love You-Pilgrims Truffles-Chocolatier) reined by trainer Bjorn Goop. Bay View (4f Yankee Glide) took fourth for Erik Adielsson.   The Tommy Hannes lopp (500,000SEK first prize, 1640 meters autostart, 10 starters) saw Missile Hill (4m Muscle Hill-India Hall-Garland Lobell) score impressively in 1.11kr (1.09,6kr at the 500 meter post; 1.10.9kr at the 1000) for driver Orjan Kihlstrom and trainer Daniel Reden and owner Stall Zet. He won for the fourth time in a 30-race career and in only his second start in Sweden after import from the United States. Evaluate (4m Andover Hall-Blathin-Classic Photo), racing shoeless with a late change, was second for trainer/driver/owner Stefan Melander. Fun Quick (4m Carpe Diem-Activity Quick-Jasmin de Flore) closed quickly for third reined by Wim Paal for trainer Maik Esper.   Other interesting winners today at Solvalla were Sashay My Way (3f Muscle Massive-Fancy-Conway Hall) in the Rune Stolts Custom Sulky race (200,000SEK first money, 1640 meters autostart) reined by trainer Adrian Kolgjini. Timed in 1.12.6kr she scored for the fourth time in eight career outings, defeating Avena Jet (3f Maharajah-Ingrid di Jesolo-Pine Chip) with Orjan Kilhlstrom up for trainer Thorsten Tietz.   This year’s Gr. II International MonteElite (300,000SEK to the winner, 1640 meters autostart, 10 starters) saw 8.8/1 Aigle Jenilou (9g Prodigious-Queen Jenilou-Kepi Vert) score an upset victory with Jonathan Carre in the irons for trainer Henk A.J. Grift. It was his 16 th life win in 65 starts and he was clocked in 1.11.3kr off fast fractions (1.07.7kr at the 500; 1.09.9kr at the 1000). Den Of Warlock (6m Muscle Hill- Sabrina Hall-Garland Lobell) was next for jockey Kristine Kvasnes. Post one was where it started and that’s where the 5.7/1 Handsome Brad (6m Brad de Veluwe-Ulrica M- Red Xing) finished as Carl Johan Jepson put this harness racing winner on the front throughout and the Ulf Stenstromer trainee was a length the best on the line in the Copenhagen Cup timed in 1.11.4kr.   The victory was Brad’s 12th career win in 45 starts now for 3,487,543dkr earned for this Menhammar Copenhagen Cup 2019 winner (purse 375,000dkr to the winner, 2011 meters autostart, 10 starts in this Gr. I UET Masters Series event).   Cyber Lane (6g Raja Mirchi-Sybaris Hanover-Cantab Hall) was second for trainer/driver Johan Untersteiner and 36/1 Generaal Bianco (6g Ufo Kievitshof-Zaskia Fortuna-Coktail Jet) took the third check for reinsman and trainer Peter Untersteiner.     Earlier in the exciting, well-attended program was the Scarlet Knight Open (75,000dkr to the winner, 1600 meters autostart) and 15/1 odds veteran O Grady (13m SJs Photo-Dawn Garbo-Smasker) toughed out a victory timed in 1.10.8kr with Kaspar K. Anderson the pilot for owner/trainer Torben Horgaard.   O Grady won for the 47 th time in 127 career starts now for 5,172,636dkr earned. 4.7/1 Slide So Easy (10g Quite Easy) was up for second ahead of pacesetter 1.8/1 favorite Vasterboonthenews (11g Credit Winner) reined by Johnny Takter.     Other interesting winners on the program included Zahra ML (4f Nad Al Sheba-Cleo d’Alfa-Armbro Goal) in a 2000 meter autostart race for mares.   The 50,000dkr first prize winner was timed in 1.14.1kr for Christoffer Eriksson and trainer Jerry Riordan.   This mare has three wins in four starts this year. A Mares Elite race for 75,000dkr to the winner went to Queen Of Sand (5f Maharajah-Frillanj Filiokus-Malabar Circle As) timed in 1.13.4kr over 2000 meters autostart, for teamster Stefan Soderkvist. The 100,000dkr first prize in a four year old contest went to 1.4/1 favorite Mister F. Daag (4m Conway Hall-Miss Love- Love You) timed in 1.13kr and teamed with pilot Robbin Bakker for trainer Paul Hagoort.   This was his first start in 2019 and eighth career win in 13 starts. Jozef Vanduffel owns this one. The V75 Silver for 110,000dkr to the winner, saw Heart Of Steel (5g Cantab Hall-Angel Heikant-Open The Sky) secure this 1.12.5kr timed victory. November 25, 2017 - Cyber Lane  (4g Raja Mirchi-Sybaris Hanover-Cantab Hall) took today’s Solvalla Grand Prix raced over 2140 meters autostart with 400,000SEK to the winner. Johan Untersteiner drove and trains the property of Levaux AB to the 1.12.1kr timed victory, his 16th in 19 career starters now for 7,155,500SEWK earned. The winner, off at 2.21/1 odds,  raced in the death seat throughout leader Diamanten (4m Adrian Chip-Iata Kall-Ata Star L) before drawing off to easy win in the stretch, The Erik Adielsson trained, Stig H, Johansson trained, Diamanten faded to third as rallying Dartagnan Sisu (4m Ready Cash-Armbro Carroll-Malabar Man) rallied to gain second. June 17, 2017 - Johan Untersteiner and 13/1 Carabinieri (6m Wellino Boko-Dew Princess-JR Broline) stalked embattled pacesetter Timoko (10m Imoko-Kiss Me Coulonces-And Arifant) with Bjorn Goop up, and surged past with little yardage remaining to post a length victory timed in 1.11kr. The Kymi Grand Prix was raced over 2100 meters autostart and is a Gr. I UET Trotting Masters event. Carabinieri is trained by Peter Untersteiner and scored his fifth 2017 win in eight starts. May 10, 2017 - Johan Untersteiner steered 4.9/1 Vasterbo Highflyer (9g Look de Star-Vasterbo Highclass-Pine Chip) to a gate to wire 1.10.2kr easy harness racing victory in the Beijer-Meadow Road (80,000SEK to the winner, 1640 meters autostart) at Solvalla this evening. The Daniel Reden chestnut trainee is owned by Stall Zet and he record victory 22 in 71 starts for 3,92,650SEK earned. 32/1 Sliding Home (4m Donato Hanover-Bar Slide-Yankee Glide) held second for Jennifer Tillman and trainer Per K. Eriksson. This one raced last in the US on October 2 for Jonas Czernyson before export to SWE and this was his best performance in 2017. Third was 1.2/1 Nuncio (6m Andover Hall-Nicole Isabelle-Lindy Lane) for Orjan Kihlstrom and owner/trainer Stefan Melander. Nuncio traveled straight and appeared sound but without threatening the top pair. Nuncio was away fourth, then moved second over early and followed until an attempted three wide move nearing the three-quarter mile mark. That move stalled and Nuncio just earned third by a long neck after failing to respond when plug pulled by Kihlstrom. Charrua Forlan and French Laundry were fourth and fifth. Torbjorn Jansson drive the winner for trainer Frode Hamre, this one a 2015 US import. She has a 3-2-3 slate in nine career appearances after this 1.14.7kr victory. On the same card the Venernkotts Femarinpspris (2140 meters autostart, 100,000SEK to winner, five year-olds) went to Boys Going In (5m Going Kronos-Namore-Buvetier d’Aunou) with Johan Untersteiner aboard, timed in 1.12.1kr. The Norrlands Grand Prix Final for four year-olds (2140 meters autostart, 250,000SEK first prize) went to Daley Lovin (4m Conway Hall-Dreamsmadeofthis-Dream Vacation) in 1.11.6kr for Daniel Reden and Stall Zet. He scored by five lengths and now sports a 10-4-7 slate in 35 career outings. Another US import, Scacco Matto, finished eighth in this race.
