Sophomore colt pacers brought a close to four days of harness racing at the Clearfield County Fair on Thursday (August 2nd).

Freshmen faced the tight turns of the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Honesdale, PA on Sunday (July 22). In a $5866 harness racing division of the PA Sire Stake filly trot, Lady Broadway and driver Bryce Truitt earned a 2:10 win.

The Big Butler Fair in Butler, Pennsylvania hosted 13 PA Sire Stake harness racing events for freshmen on Thursday (June 28). Roger Hammer opened the card with a victory in a 2YO colt trot, guiding Albany House (Andover Hall) to a 2:09.2 win. It would prove to be the fastest trotting mile of the day.

SBM Georgian Star opened the card with a victory in the PA Sire Stake sophomore filly trot. Brian Zendt drove the winner for the Dunn Stable and trainer Boots Dunn. The winning time was 2:07.2 for the daughter of Great George Two.

Blissful Artist, making her first fair appearance of the year, came from last at the half to win the first division of the PA Sire Stake filly pace for three-year-olds. Trained by Randy Neal and driven by Eric Neal, the Blissfull Hall filly scored in 2:04.

Ultra consistent harness racing mare Rebby raced her way into Open grade with another decisive win at Albion Park on Saturday night (July 30). The victory provided more joy for first time owners Denis and Ruth Gardner, Ruth's ninety-one year old father Ron Moffatt and close friends Neil and Jamie Hopgood.

Ten stake events for 3-year-olds were on the Saturday (July 23) card, and the day kicked off with an upset in the first division of the sophomore colt pace.
