Top flight action was on tap this evening at Paris-Vincennes, primarily for three and four year olds.  The opener this day was the Prix Ludovica (purse 75,000€, 2850 meters, 10 starters) with the 1.13.4kr timed impressive victory to 2.9/1 Elena de Piencourt (4f Opium-Una Bella Jain) with trainer Matthieu Abrivard driving for breeder/owner Robert Malherbe. She scored for the third time lifetime in 31 outings and was a decisive winner over 9/1 Extra Light (4f Village Mystic) that Gabriele Gelormini teamed for trainer Stephane Meunier. The 8.1/1 odds Extasy d’Ourville (4f Tucson) took the third check for pilot David Thomain and trainer Sebastien Guarato.  22/1 Epona des Passage (4f Real de Lou) was fourth for Aymeric Thomas ahead of even money favorite Electra Jet (4f Ready Cash) and Pierre Vercruysse. The 2.8/1 odds winner was timed in 1.15.1lkr. Yannick A. Briand drove and trains this career earner of €140,030. Creature Castelets (5f Pomerol de Laumac-Tragical Song) took second for trainer/driver Nicolas Ensch and third was Colonel Bond (5g Revel d’Anama-Miss Margaretha) for driver Pierre Vercruysse and trainer J.P. Ensch. This one tracked the winning leader but could not gain late. II Prix Leon Tacquet (monte, purse €120,000, 2175 meters, seven starters) went to sharp 1.12kr winner (by ten lengths) Bilibili (5m Niky-Quetty du Donjon) with Alexandre Abrivard up. The 3.5/1 odds pacesetter is trained by L.Cl. Abrivard for owner Jean-Pierre Barjon. 20.9/1 Biscuit Delavera (5m Ludu de Castelle-Neva du Rosier) was second for Clement Frecelle with 9/1 Bocage d’Ortige (5m Mirage du Goutier-Providence d’Ortige) home third for Mathieu Abrivard and trainer Sebastien Guarato.
