Tae Kwon Deo (5m Muscle Hill-Brigham Dream-Kaissy Dream) won today’s harness racing Hakan Olssons (purse 29,272€, 1609 meters autostart, 10 starters) V75 Gold at Orebro. Off as the 1.2/1 favorite, the Adrian Kolgjini trained and reined performer was first up in front of the stands on lap one and kept the charging Perfect Spirit in a three wide position. Team Kolgjini engaged then leading Snowstorn Hanover in a fast pace before wearing that one down off the final bend. The winner then accelerated to a three length plus victory timed in 1.09.8kr. Fractions were quick from the start (1.07.6kr at the first 500 and 1.09,8kr at the 1000 meter mark). The winner was bred in the USA by Deo Volente Farms and is now owned by WhapCapital and Lutfi Kolgjini. He is from the exceptional US stakes winning Brigham Dream that was developed and raced there by Jean Pierre Dubois. Tae Kwon Deo recorded his eighth career win today from 25 starts, and his first 2020 victory. He now sports career earnings of 2,447,216SEK. Following the winner were 13/1 Minnestads El Paso (7m Adrian Chip-Bologna-Viking Kronos) for Rebecca Dahlen and 19/1 Speedy Face (6m Joke Face-Feelin Feisty-Yankee Glide) for pilot Dante Kolgjini. This year the race will be held without fans and with a later start time (likely 2:30pm eastern time in the US). Tae Kwon joins Attraversiamo, Elian Web, Chief Orlando and Vivid Wise As as Elite race invitees so far. Reportedly Vivid Wise As will join the Bjorn Goop training stable for the Elitloppet. This followed an unfortunte whipping incident involving the mare Zarina Bi that was in to race this day before being a vet scratch. She is owned by Biasuzzi Srl and was trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro who was not on premises. Gocciadoro later reported that his associate was fired. Other upper class races this day also included the Orebro International Stayerlopp (purse 39,108€, 3140 meters voltstart distance handicap, 15 starters) with victory to 4.9/1 Electrical Storm (6g Make It Happen-Blend Of Gold-Cantab Hall) with Mattias Djuse up. Race time was 1.14.3kr. Tengil Face (5g Joke Face-Makeasignofpeace-Life Sign) was second for trainer/driver Adrian Kolgjini. The 1.3/1 favorite Anthara Bi (4f Donato Hanover-Dakota Bi-Toss Out) took the Sauveurs Mares event (purse 21,680€, 2140 meters voltstart distance handicap, 15 starters) clocked in 1.13.2kr with Bjorn Goop the trainer/driver for Union Perfect Srl. Earlier, the STL Klass II Final (purse 21,680€, 2140 meters voltstart, 12 starters) saw 2.7/1 T.Rex Face (5g Joke Face-Charmaine As-Like A Prayer) win in 1.13.8kr for Bjorn Goop and trainer Hakan Karlsson, The V75 Silver (purse 24,498€, 2100 meters autostart, 12 starters) provided the stage for winner Very Kronos (6m Ready Cash-Glide About-Yankee Glide) clocked in 1.12.5kr and piloted by Erik Adielsson for trainer Svante Bath. The day’s Quinte+ race on the PMU network was the Enoch Karlssons Minni for mares (purse 21,680€, 2100 meters autostart, 12 starters) and 9/1 Tessy d’été (8f Ganymede-Love Me Tender-Supergill) scored in 1.11.6kr. She is now trained in Sweden by Jerry Riordan and Carl Johan Jepson was the reinsman for owner Scuderia Eurocolor Srl. This was her first 2020 victory and 15th in her good career that has now yielded 6,118,468SEK in earnings. Hevin Boko, Dibaba, Willow Pride and Rose Run Sydney followed and completed the exact order top five that paid 3,477.40€ to winning Quinte ticket holders. Aetos Kronos (3m Bold Eagle-Will Of A Woman-Muscles Yankee) impressively won the male division of the E3 Finale (purse to winner 1,000,000SEK, 1609 meters autostart) at Orebroi timed in 1.10.9kr and reined by Johan Untersteiner for harness racing trainer Jerry Riordan. Team Snyder and Aetos Djios AB share ownership of the now five-time career winner in 11 starts for 3.599,050SEK earned. Aetos Kronos has now won three races with 1SEK million first prize. Global Adventure was second for Erik Adielsson and Zola Key took third for Bjorn Goop. The companion E3 Filly Finale (1,000,000SEK first money, 1609 meters) saw Mascate Match (3f Muscle Mass-Captivation-Cantab Hall) score for Pekka Korpi timed in 1.12.3kr. May 4, 2019 - Dante Boko (9g Going Kronos-Margherita Rosa-Abo Volo) took today’s harness racing co-featured V75 Gold at Orebro (200,000SEK to the winner, 1609 meters autostart). Trainer Adrian Kolgjini teamed the winner that was timed in 1.10.9kr. The winner scored for the 26th time in 97 career starts and now has life earnings of 8,718,561SEK. Second went to 1.7/1 favorite Charrua Forlan (9g Up Front Larry-Friske Bar-Frisky Frazer) with Emilia Leo aboard for trainer Hans Owe Sundberg. Third was 64/1 Snowstorm Hanover (5m Muscle Massive) with Stefan Melander driving. The other featured event today at Orebro was the Orebro International Stayerlopp (Gr. II, 400,000SEK to the winner, 3140 meters voltstart). The 1.13.8kr timed victory went to 6.6/1 Mack Dragan (6g Zola Boko-Stons Nettan-Rite On Line) reined by C.J. Jepson for owner/trainer Withelmsson Morgan, as he won for the 19th time in 38 career starts, now for life earnings of 1,697,300SEK. The winner overcame a 20 meter handicap. Second was the 3.4/1 choice On Track Piraten (11g Kool du Caux-Monrovia-Rite On Line) that faced a 40 meter handicap and was reined by Rikard N, Skoglund for trainer Hans R. Saturday’s V75-3 Gold Express Gaxe at Orebro in Sweden (200,000SEK to winner, 2100 meters autostart) saw 5.2/1 Antonio Tabac (6m Crazed-Grace Tabac-Tap In) score gate to wire timed in 1.12kr for driver Oskar Kylin Blom and owner Gerth-Owe Karlsson. The winner scored for the fifth consecutive time and now has seven wins in his last 10 outings. He now has 17 career wins for 2,265,800SEK earned. The 2.4/1 Nadal Broline was second for Erik Adielsson and third went to 2.2/1 odds Love Matter that was reined by Orjan Kihlstrom. Volstead and Cash Okay were scratched from this event. Top flight action is just ahead in Italy. On October 28 at Visarno will be the male and female divisions of the GP Anact, each with a purse of 110,000€. On November 1st at Torino will be the Orsi Mangelli Filly for 88,000€ and two elims of the GP Mangelli, each elim for a 22,000€ purse. May 6, 2017 - Whether Sweden Cup or Elitloppet at the end of May Dante Boko (7g Going Kronos-Margherita Rosa-Abo Volo) may get a call off his Saturday decisive harness racing victory in the V75 Gold (150,000SEK to the winner, 1609 meters autostart). Clocked in a sharp 1.10kr the 4.7/1 second choice was teamed by Adrian Kolgjini for trainer Lutfi and Stall Be The Best. 10.7/1 Highspeed Call (9g From Above-Love Call-Alf Palema) took second for Anders Eriksson with third to 3.2/1 Food Money (9g Andover Hall-Windylane Hanover-Lindy Lane) reined by Ulf Ohlsson. Fractions were likewise quick (1.07 at the first 500 meters and 1.19.6kr at the 1000 mark). The Orebro card also featured the Stayerlopp (400,000SEK first money, 3140 meters voltstart, Gr. II International event). 9/2 Balfour (6g Scipion du Goutier-Pay The Bill-Sancho Panca) scored in 1.13.3kr driven by Kim Eriksson for owner/trainer Robert Bergh. 2/1 Sauveur (7m Echo-Operah Bob-Easy Lover) was second for Bjorn Goop, ahead of 16/1 Usain Henna (7m Super Light-Kassandra Kuron-Gidde Palema) reined by Osker Svanberg. Friday night at Orebro Sweden was the 201 Najos Minne (100,000SEK to winner, 2100 meters autostart) and the winner was 4.41/1 Cruzado dela Noche (4m Muscle Massive-Alidade-Credit Winner) reined by Bjorn Goop and timed in 1.11.1kr, a record for the distance on a 1000 meter harness racing track. Stefan Melander trains the Stall Courant AB Stockholm owned and Hanover Shoe Farms bred winner, that has a 2016 slate of 5-1-2 in 14 starts for 2,137,690SEK. He has 10 wins in 36 career starts for 4,081,566SEK earned. Twister Bi (4m Varenne-Lorraine Bi-Lemon Dra) was second for Christoffer Eriksson, trainer Jerry Riordan and owner Pasuale Ciccarelli. This Biasuzzi bred trotter bested third finishing Divisionist (4m Andover Hall-Only Lonely-Yankee Paco-Too Good For You-Yankee Glide-Little Miss Queenie) with Jorma Kontio driving. Nahar Takes Mohawk Preferred Saturday evening’s Mohawk (Ontario) featured trot was the weekly Preferred (purse C$34,000, one mile autostart) and veteran former Elitloppet winner (at age eight)  Nahar (11g, Love You-Mahonny Broline-Joie de Vie) was an easy five-length winner clocked in 1:53 for driver Doug McNair, trainer Robert Bergh and Stall Sedin. Stromberg. Jan Spals Invest AM owns the winner, now with a 2-3-1 slate in nine 2016 starts for earnings of 1,160,000SEK. Her sire is a son of Muscles Yankee-Yankee Blondie. Zahara Goj (3f Sahara Dynamite-Melinda Sigel-Self Confident) took second for Torbjorn Jansson with third to Greece Boko (3f Zola Boko-Ouzo Boko-Victory Dream) and driver Jorma Kontio and trainer Robert Bergh. The colt division went to 1.11.7kr timed Donatello Sisu (3m Conway Hall-Dear Abs-Muscles Yankee) handled by Stefan Soderkvist for Denco HB and trainer Admir Ziukanovic.
