Two-year-old pacers will once again be the focus of the Friday night (July 8) harness racing card at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. The entire eight-race abbreviated program includes four divisions of the Abercrombie series for freshman colts and geldings and four divisions of the Sandra Lil series for freshman fillies.

The first two-year-old races were held at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino Friday, June 24, giving harness racing fans a glimpse at some of the future stars in the state of Indiana. Magee scored four wins Friday, April 1 to assist in his push to the top of the driver standings for the three-day opening weekend.

The Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale kicked off its two-day event Friday, October 29 with a strong first session. Bolstered by notable out-of-state harness racing horsemen looking to invest in Indiana's lucrative program, yearlings brought record prices Friday, with a Southwind Elian filly bringing a $107,000 final bid.

Panspacificflight started his harness racing career by winning his first four starts as a two-year-old and finishing his first season of racing with seven victories in nine starts. He went on to win an elimination round of the North American Cup and finished third in the final. The Panderosa foal earned more than $360,000 in only three years of racing.
