Elkton, MD --- Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by USTA/BetAmerica is proud to announce the harness racing schedule for Hoosier Pacing Derby night on Friday (Sept. 20) at Harrah's Hoosier Park. The duo's broadcast will begin at 8 p.m. and run until 11 p.m., covering races 7-12. Mike and Mike will be joined by former analyst Jessica Otten, DRF contributor Garnet Barnsdale, and regular contributor Taylor Johnston. Otten will co-host and offer insight throughout the program, with Barnsdale sharing his in-depth analysis, and Johnston providing pre- and post-race interviews. The stakes laden program at Hoosier Park has a first post of 6:30 p.m. and will feature some of North America's top pacers and trotters. The mare Hannelore Hanover will take on the boys as she did in 2017 when she finished second. The Caesars Trotting Classic (Race 12) is a loaded field, which features Hambletonian champion Marion Marauder, Hambletonian Maturity and Cashman winner Crystal Fashion, and Kentucky Futurity champion Six Pack. The Harrah's Hoosier Park Pacing Derby features 2018 Horse of the Year McWicked who comes back to town to try to avenge his loss in the Dan Patch Stakes in August. He will face nine others including Iowa superstar Jimmy Freight and This Is The Plan, who has put together a strong 2019 campaign. Elkton, MD -- Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by the USTA/BetAmerica, is excited to announce the line-up for Thursday morning (Sept. 11) at 10:30 a.m. They will be joined by Mark McKelvie, Joe Zambito, and Darrell Wood. The action heats up on Saturday night with a C$2 million program happening at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Mark McKelvie, Director of Communications, will join to highlight the action-packed program and talk about what fans can expect on track. The pair will go through all the stakes races with McKelvie and find out who the heavy hitters will be Saturday night. The New York Sire Stakes Night of Champions makes it's first appearance to Batavia Downs Gaming on Saturday and track announcer Joe Zambito will be the one to bring you the action. The card is highlighted by champion Gimpanzee, and will also feature the $50,000 Robert J Kane Memorial Pace which has been previously been won by champions like Foiled Again. Zambito will highlight some of the great wagering opportunities that will be available to gamblers on Saturday night and also discuss each of the championship finals. Racing heats up once again at Shenandoah Downs as the season kicks off on Saturday afternoon. Darrell Wood will talk about some of the new features at the Virginia facility including the new party deck in the home stretch. Miller will be in action on the stakes laden harness racing card on Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park. He will talk about his drives including Crystal Fashion in the Maple Leaf Trot and McWicked in the Canadian Pacing Derby. Demsky, the Director of Digital Media and Creative Services, will talk about the Wager Warrior concept, which involves the PHRA going to Pennsylvania racetracks and teaching newcomers about the sport of harness racing. McKelvie, the Communications and Content Manager for Woodbine Entertainment, will talk about some of the promotions at Woodbine Mohawk coming up this Saturday. Prewitt joins the program this week to talk about the happening at The Red Mile. The Kentucky Sire Stakes kicked off this past week in Lexington with some big names taking center stage. The pair will discuss some of the performances he has witnessed and how it may translate to Grand Circuit week. MacDonald will discuss TheStable.ca and their PEI initiative that has taken place over the past couple of weeks where they enter a horse into the Gold Cup & Saucer. He will discuss what goes into that promotion and talk about Brave World who will be in the Gold Cup consolation on Saturday night. Zambito, the track announcer at Batavia Downs Gaming, makes his debut on Thursday to talk about the 2019 Night of Champions at Batavia. Zambito has been a race caller at the storied track for several years, and he will discuss some of his experiences through the years. Elkton, MD --- Post Time with Mike and Mike, presented by USTA/BetAmerica, continues their live remote season on Friday (Aug. 9) with coverage of the 2019 Dan Patch Stakes, live from Harrah's Hoosier Park in Anderson, Ind. The 2018 Dan Patch featured champion Lazarus N who kicked off his US campaign with a victory over the Harrah's Hoosier Park oval. He returned one month later to the excitement of fans with a victory in the Hoosier Park Pacing Derby. Mike and Mike will have extensive coverage of the Dan Patch beginning at 8:30 p.m. via their website that will run for two and a half hours. Jessica Otten who returns to the airwaves for the first time since joining The Meadowlands, will be co-hosting the live remote. Otten, a native of Michigan, has worked with Mike and Mike since the inception of their live remotes four years ago. Otten has since gone on to join Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment with a multitude of responsibilities. Joining the trio again this year will be Taylor Johnston. Johnston, a native of Ohio, has worked with Post Time with Mike and Mike for the last two years working at various live remotes throughout their schedule. Johnston will be providing winner's circle and paddock reaction throughout the evening. The race has drawn contenders from across the country including Delivin Miller Adios champion Southwind Ozzi. Bianconi will discuss what goes into the invitations for the race and what the track has in-store for fans on Saturday night. Mike and Mike will have extensive coverage of The Hambletonian beginning at 3:00 p.m. via their website that will run for three hours. Ashley Mailloux will join the duo providing interviews from the winner's circle, pre- and post-race reaction, and handicapping analysis of the stakes-laden program at The Meadowlands. Also joining the duo will be Daily Racing Form handicapper Garnet Barnsdale. Barnsdale will join Carter and Bozich during the broadcast to analyze the program. The Meadowlands has a 16-race program featuring multiple stakes events. First post is 12 noon. Gamblers will have a plethora of guarantees to swing at on Saturday afternoon. The guaranteed wagers begin in race three, where the 50-cent Pick 5 will carry a $50,000 guarantee. Mike and Mike will have extensive coverage of the Meadowlands Pace beginning at 8:30 p.m. via their website www.posttimewithmikeandmike.com that will run for three hours. Navy football broadcaster, announcer at Rosecroft Raceway, and most recently filling in on the radio for the Washington Nationals, Pete Medhurst will join the program as a co-host. Medhurst will provide pre- and post-race analysis, and help dissect the stakes laden program. Melander joins the show to talk about his top three contenders (Gimpanzee, Greenshoe, and Green Manalishi S). Both Greenshoe and Green Manalishi S are entered in Saturday's Earl Beal Jr. Memorial Eliminations. Melander will talk about how they have been training up to the race and the pair will ask Melander when fans can expect to see Gimpanzee back on the track. The four Harrah's properties (Indiana Grand, Hoosier Park, Philadelphia, and Louisiana Downs) will host a handicapping challenge on Saturday June 22 featuring a top prize of $20,000, a seat at the $3,000,000 (EST) National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), and an additional $1 million cash prize if the winner of the Caesars Rewards Handicapping Challenge also with the NHC.
