November 11, 2017 - Ulf Ohlsson teamed Reijo Liljendahl harness racing trainee Nadal Broline (7g Yankee Glide-Aimee’s Promise-American Winner) to a 1.10.8kr timed victory at Eskilstuna in the V75 Gold, with 150,000SEK to the winner. The distance was 1640 meters autostart and Cruzado dela Noche (5m Muscle Massive-Alidade-Credit Winner) ended second for Magnus Jakobsson and trainer Stefan Melander for Courant AB. Third in the field of 12 was On Track Piraten (9g Kool du Caux-Monrovia-Rite On Line) driven by Johnny Takter. The winner recorded his19th career win in 37 outings for 3,533,915SEK earned. The undercard included the V75 Silver Division for 125,000SEK (2140 meters voltstart) to the winner, Cab Hornline (6g San Pellegrino-Perle Mauritius-Hermes de Pericard), reined by trainer Per Lennartsson. Race time was 1.14.4kr and Super Nice (4m Orlando Vici-Flax Avenue-Daguet Rapide) and Thaiger Exclusive (6g Adrian Chip-Lady Exclusive-Spotlite Lobell) were the next two home. The Sparbanken (100,000SEK to winner, 2140 meters autostart) went to impressive Very Kronos (3m Ready Cash-Glide About-Yankee Glide) timed in 1.15kr for Erik Adielsson, driver for trainer Svante Bath. The now five time winner in eight career starts, all in 2017, is owned by Kjell Johansson. Neelix (3g Raja Mirchi-Yankee Bash-Self Possessed) was second for Adrian Kolgjini and third went to Evazan AM (3g Ready Cash-Queen Silas-Pine Chip) for the Ohlsson/Liljendahl combination. Tomorrow at the same venue will be four Breeders Crown SWE finals, each for 800,000SEW to the race winners. These events are for colts and fillies, one each for three and four year olds. April 16, 2017 - Veteran campaigner Nidal Broline (7g Yankee Glide-Aimee’s Promise-American Winner) won the Romme Sunday harness racing featured V75 Gold Olympiatravet Elimination (purse 150,000SEK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart) timed in 1.11.8kr for Ulf Ohlsson and trainer Reijo Liljendahl and Finish owner Onket Invest. The Olympia Trot final is April 29 at Aby. The 8.7/1 odds winner defeated 1.8/1 Volstead (6m Cantab Hall-Madame Volo-Yankee Glide) driven by Orjan Kihlstom for trainer/owner Stefan Melander. 3.2/1 D.D.’s Hitman (6m Donato Hanover-Deedee’s Destiny-Muscles Yankee) took third for Johnny Takter. 17/1 Rocky Winner (9m Credit Winner-Level Fortytwo-Arnaquer) and 15/1 Dante Boko (7g Going Kronos-Margherita Rosa-Abo Volo) were the fourth and fifth horses to the line. March 25, 2017 - Saturday’s V75 was at Mantorp, Sweden and the harness racing featured Gold Division, worth 150,000SEWK to the winner, was contested over 2140 meters autostart. The 1.12.5kr timed winner was Shadow Woodland (8g The Bosses Lindy-Unlimited Sea-Credit Winner) reined by Ulf Ohlsson for trainer Reijo Liljendahl for owners Matti and Raija Pasanen. This 2.27/1 favorite defeated veteran Spring Erom (12m Gentle Star-Springflickan-Prince Mystic) driven by Christoffer Eriksson for trainer Dan Widegren. Third was 2.67/1 El Mago Pellini (8m Chocolatier-My Intuition-Andover Hall-CR Kay Suzie) in rein to Adrian Kolgjine. Shadow Woodland scored in his first 2017 outing and now has a 23-8-5 slate in 58 career starts for 2,717,758SEK earned. Friday night action at Romme included the featured  Olle Jonssons (35,000SEWK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart). Victory was earned by 1.08/1 favorite Delicious US (8f Cantab Hall-Ipsara LB-Lemon Dra) racing with shoes, and timed in 1.14.1kr, for driver Orjan Kihlstrom, trainer Daniel Reden and owner Stall Zet. The Frances Bulwark (250,000SEK first prize, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters) produced an impressive victory for Finland’s Shadow Woodland (7g The Bosses Lindy-Unlimited Visa-Credit Winner) with Bjorn Goop up for trainer Reijo Liljendahl. Timed in 1.11.2kr he swept to the front early and kept on going for an easy score over pocket placed Magic Tonight (7m Andover Hall-Miss Possessed-Self Possessed) with Kenneth Haugstad driving for Roger Walmann. Third was Dreams Take Time (7m Andover Andover-B My Honey-Viking Kronos) with trainer Pete Untersteiner the pilot. The race winner recorded his fifth 2016 win in 11 starts and 22nd in the career from 55 outings, now good for 2,440,601SEK earned. The Silver Division Final (220,000SEK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters) went to 1.12.3kr timed Seedorf O.M.F from Italy, teamed by Goop for trainer Stig H, Johansson.
