November 29, 2017 - Yoann Lebourgeois drove 7.2/1 Mindyourvalue WF (4g Hovding Lavec-Mind Your Business) to a 1.13.6kr timed victory in today’s  harness racing Quinte+ Prix de Picardie (purse €90,000, 2850 meters, 18 European starters) at Paris-Vincennes. This Robert Bergh trainee is owned by Christer Englund and the winner bested 9/2 Direct Way (4g Quaker Jet-Queen Flore) handled by Anthony Barrier for trainer Philippe Allaire. 27/1 Diable de Vauvert (4m Prince d’Espace-Pop Star) was third for David Thomain. 15/1 Dream de Nilrem and 1.8/1 Rajesh Face were the next pair to the line creating a €6,755 payoff for a €2 play. Other winners on the Vincennes program included 17/1 Ezio Josselyn (3m Prodigious-Lezira Josselyn) for driver Bjorn Goop in the €60,000 Prix Jean Maurice Beteau. Robert Bergh trains the winner for Forspro AB and he record career win number 19 in 26 starts. The 2.13/1 favorite bested late rallying Generaal Bianco reined by Peter Untersteiner. July 6, 2017 - On Thursday at Halmstad (SWE) was the classic Sprintermaster for harness racing four year-olds, with three eliminations each for 125,000SEK to those winners, and a final with 977,000SEK to that winner. Each heat was raced over 1609 meters autostart.  The final went to 1.10kr timed and 2.9/1 Diamanten (4m Adrian Chip-Iata Kall-Ata Star L) that scored for Christoffer Eriksson driving for Robert Bergh, trainer for Forspro HB. The Bergh trained and teamed Muscle Hustle (4m Muscle Mass-Crown Laurel-Cantab Hall) was second ahead of Electric Light (4m Going Kronos-USA Hornline-Giant Hit) and his trainer/driver Peter Untersteiner. Makethemark was sixth in the final after winning an elim and Paul The Apostle was fifth after a second place finish in elimination two. The elims began with 1.5/1 Diamanten (4m Adrian Chip-Iata Kall-Ata Star L) taking the first timed in 1.10.4kr for trainer/driver Robert Bergh. June 3, 2017 - Saturday the V75 harness racing action was at Mantorp, Sweden, headed by the Ina Scots (300,000SEK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart). Victory was secured by 29/1 Muscle Hustle (4m Muscle Mass-Crown Laurel-Cantab Hall) driven by trainer Robert Bergh. Bergh co-owns this one with Ecurie des Charmes. Brittany Farms bred the 1.12.3kr timed winner. 3.3/1 Policy Of Truth (4g Explosive Matter-Champagne-Supergill) was second for Ulf Ohlsson and trainer Reijo Liljendahl, with the third spot going to 15/1 Baron Gift (4m Gift Kronos-Countesse Photo-Fast Photo) for trainer/driver Rikard Svanstedt. April 1, 2017 - Today’s Solvalla harness racing featured Gr. II International Tritun Sunds V75 Gold (purse 250,000SEK to winner, total purse 505,500SEK, 2140 meters autostart, eight starters) went to 63.36/1 outsider Kadett C.D. (10m Scarlet Knight-Kiss of Life-Tenor de Baune) with trainer Robert Bergh aboard. In The Zone AB owns the winner, now with a 1-1-0 slate in four 2017 starts after going winless in 16 starts last year and only hit the board once. The winning veteran now has 25 career wins in 91 starts for 8,211,320SEK earned. The Kadett enjoyed a pocket trip behind pacesetter El Mago Pellini (8m Chocolatier-My Intuition-Andover Hall) with Lutfi Kolgjini up and he lasted for fourth. Nuncio (6m Andover Hall-Nicole Isabelle-Lindy Lane) was second over throughout and then was shuffled behind dead cover to be five lengths off midway in the final bend. Nuncio then, with Orjan Kihlstrom up, mounted a rally that ended over a length short. Thai Broadway (8m Broadway Hall-Isabelle Knick-Tap In), with Bjorn Goop the trainer and pilot, followed Nuncio and almost earned the second spot. Nuncio now has a 39-13-2 slate in 54 starts for 27,928,230SEK in career earnings. This day Nuncio did not have his usual kick and appeared uncomfortable throughout  and perhaps off behind nearing the finish. Fractions were well-rated (1.10.1kr at the first 500 meters, 1.12.7kr at the 1000 mark, 1.11.7kr at the 1500, the finish 1.11.5kr). On Track Piraten faded badly, and finished sixth after recording nine straight victories, racing this day first over.

February 25, 2017 - Rafolo (9g Love You-Farola) won the harness racing  featured Prix de Grobois (purse €28,000, 2750 meters autostart, European eligibles) at 3.2/1 odds at Toulouse. Dominik Locqueneux teamed the barefoot Robert Bergh trainee that is owned by J.O. Jensen. The 1/2 odds favorite Very Very Fast (8g Quaro-Nocturne de Bresse) was second for trainer/driver Benjamin Goetz. 36/1 Un Reve d’Haufor (9g Jasmin de Flore-Jolie Haufor) took third for trainer/driver M.X. Charlot. At Cagnes-sur-Mer the featured Prix Mimizan (monte, purse €70,000, 16 European starters, 2250 meters) went to 13.2/1 Vinci Pierji (8g Meaulnes du Corta-Intaille) with trainer Matthieu Abrivard in the irons. CAMPBELLVILLE, September 8 - While his harness racing owners are preparing for the World Cup of Hockey, Nahar has been preparing for the Maple Leaf Trot and getting used to his new surroundings. The 11-year-old Swedish trotting star arrived in Canada last week and has been stabled at Blair Burgess' farm near Mohawk Racetrack. Nahar, who is owned by Daniel and Henrik Sedin of the Vancouver Canucks, was accompanied to Canada by his trainer Robert Bergh's daughter, Isabella. Earlier this week, Nahar made a visit to First Line Training Centre to put in some work ahead of Saturday's Maple Leaf Trot eliminations. The 2013 Elitlopp winner last raced on August 27th before traveling to Canada. Nahar is a 39-time winner with over $1.8 million in career earnings. He will be driven by Ake Svanstedt in Saturday's Maple Leaf Trot elimination. The Sedin brothers will be playing in a World Cup of Hockey Pre-Tournament game on Saturday in Gothenburg, but will be traveling to Toronto next week for the start of the tournament. If Nahar qualifies for the Maple Leaf Trot Final, the brothers are expected to be in attendance at Mohawk on September 17th to watch their star trotter compete. The Maple Leaf Trot eliminations are carded as Races 6 and 9 on Saturday's 13-race program. Nahar will compete in the second elimination. The winner, owned by Stall Lars Vegard, rallied stoutly to score clocked in 1.11.6kr over Vasterbo Highflyer (7g Look de Star-Vasterbo Highclass-Pine Chip) in rein to trainer Daniel Reden for Stall Zet. Ringostarr Treb (5m Classic Photo-Farsalo Egral-Supergill) hugged the pegs to land third for Wim Pall, trainer Holger Ehlert and Scuderia Scarton Stable. Beau Mec was fourth for trainer Bergh and teamster Torbjorn Jansson. Favorite Knows Nothing set the pace for Ulf Ohlsson before weakening in the last bend. II International Prix du Departement des Alpes Maritimes carrying a purse of €180,000 and raced over 1609 meters (one mile) autostart. 13 starters contested the event and Dominik Locqueneux rallied the winner, owned in Sweden by Kings Arms/Avesta AB, late in the lane for a length and a half score over 73.3/1 Roller Quick (10m Derby du Gite-Arquebuse) with trainer Jean Uroz up and 5.5/1 Pascia’Lest (6m Varenne-Superiors Sun) with Roberto Andreghetti aboard for trainer Fabrice Souloy. Pacesetter Vincennes (7f Spotlite Lobell-Lina Trot) settled for fourth driven by Bjorn Goop for trainer Souloy at 9.2/1 and fifth went to 97/1 Nando Font  (8m Yankee Slide-Lady Essie) and trainer/driver Lucio Becchetti.
