Last Thursday, Sept. 29, at Lexington, KY in a Billings Trot Steve "You're Never Too" Oldford and Celtic Merchant were locked in by the eventual winner, Rush N Supreme driven by Kelly "Sky" Walker and finished third but on Thursday, October 6 Oldford and his trotter emerged victorious in the harness racing 'Gentleman's Driving Club Trot' in a time of 1:56 over the Red Mile.

After a long GLADA harness racing season and many seconds and thirds, Steve Oldford drove his own Howmuchubench to victory in 2:32.4 in the 1-1/4 mile trot that capped off the season on Monday (August 22) at Hazel Park.

As a member of the North American Amateur Drivers Association, Steve Oldford has been designated to represent the USA in a friendship competition in Taranto, Italy in late July. Oldford will be in Italy's most southern city in the province of Puglia from July 27 through Aug.1 and will compete in the Magna Grecia, an harness racing annual event held at Ippodromo Paolo Sesto where the USA will be seeking its first victory.
