November 10, 2019 - Eskilstuna hosted several SE Breeders Crown events this day with the harness racing four-year-old Mares (purse 149.696€, 2140 meters auto start) going to 1.11.8kr timed and 3.3/1 Conrads Rodluva (4f SJs Caviar-Moviestar-Juliano Star) with Orjan Kihlstrom up for trainer Daniel Reden. 3.7/1 Activated (4f Jacose-Marelle-Viking Kronos) was second for Carl Johan Jepson and trainer Fredrik Wallin. Third was 16.7/1 Staro Miami (4f SJs Caviar-Stunning Lindsey-Malabar Man) with Mika Forss up. The Breeders Crown for three-year-old Fillies (distance 2140 meters autostart) went to 1.13.2kr timed and 4.9/1 Ganga Bae (3f Muscle Hill-Alexia As-Conway Hall) for Jorma Kontio. She defeated the 1.7/1 favorite Mascate Match (3f Muscle Mass-Captivation-Conway Hall) reined by Pekka Korpi and the 20/1 third finishing Milady Grace (3f Ready Cash-Khao Manee-Muscles Yankee). The total purse was 149.696€. The three-year-old Males contested their 2140 meter autostart Breeders Crown and the 1.12.5kr timed winner was 4.4/1 Brother Bill (3g From Above-Clear As A Bell-Super Arnie) with Jorma Kontio up for trainer Timo Nurmos. The Saturday Solvalla harness racing program showcased two elims of the Grand Prix de L’UET 2019, each with 200,000SEK to the winners, each raced over 2140 meters autostart.   The first elim went to 14.3/1 Lewis Ale (4m Andover Hall-Ripley-Ride The Night) timed in 1.11.9kr with Mika Forss driving for trainer Thomas Korvenoja and Finland’s Lewis Ale Stable. This one now has eight career wins in 15 starts.   Stolethedshow (4m Dream Vacation-Abba Hall) was next for Christoffer Eriksson and third went to Forfantone AM (4m Muscle Hill-Tamla Celeber-Cantab Hall) for Orjan Kihlstom.   The second elim went to 2.6/1 Graceful Swamp (4m So Perfect-Zora Kemp-Majestic Son) timed in 1.12.6kr. Ari Mollanen teamed the winner that was bred and is owned in Finland and is sired by a son of Coktail Jet. He now has 29 career victories in 35 starts. Norwegian bred Max Brady (4m Cantab Hall- Hope Brady-Ganymede) was next for Geir Vegard Gundersen and third was Donatello Garbo (4m Wishing Stone-Genya Garbo) handled by Orjan Kihlstrom.   Later in the card was the Vermo Areena (300,000SEK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart, 12 aged five- seven starters) and 1.7/1 Milliondollarrhyme (5g Ready Cash-Nursery Rhyme-Credit Winner) scored in 1.11.6kr for Ulf Ohlsson and trainer Fredrik B. Larsson. Two Ready Cash offspring were second and third, Very Kronos with Erik Adielsson uo, and Esprit Sisu with Bjorn Goop teaming. This pair are trained by Svante Bath.   Early this day were two division of the Svenskn Travsports Unghdsterie. Each carried a 70,000SEK first each prize and each was raced over 2140 meters autostart by three year olds.   The filly division went to 24/1 Valuta E.W. (3f Chocolatier-Afrodite Sund-Supergill) timed in 1.14.6kr and reined by Erik Adielsson for trainer Bath. She has three 2019 wins in seven outings. The colt division went to 1.13.4kr timed and 2.4/1 odds Hail Mary (3m Googoo Gaagaa-Dreams US-Victory Dream) trained and reined by Robert Bergh. The 4.6/1 Power (3m Googoo Gaagaa-La Vici-Orlando Vici) was an impressive 1.13kr timed harness racing winner of today’s Trav-Kriterium at Solvalla (2,000,000SEK to the winner, 2640 meters autostart, 12 starters) with a nearly start to finish journey guided by trainer/driver Robert Bergh.   In The Zone AB owns the winner that recorded his eighth career victory in 13 starts, now for 3,347,500SEK earned. Power this day had to fight off challenges from Ubiquarian Face and Usain Toll but he was more than up to these rivals efforts.   The now imported sire Googoo Gaagaa had three performers in this race. Brother Bill (3g From Above- Clear As A Bell-Super Arnie) was a fast closing second with Jorma Kontio up for trainer Timo Nurmos.Exodus Brick (3m Make It Happen-Exi Svard-Super Arnie) was third with trainer Jorgen Westholm at the lines.    This winner showed us a great gait and superb manners. His sire was one of the best gaited and fast colts I have ever seen in the USA. Googoo has one colt in the Lexington Selected Sale on Friday (hip 512) and he has six two year olds racing tonight at Rosecroft Raceway, one being the undefeated colt Yall Beneath Me with a record of 1:54.4f in a Maryland Sires event. The exceptional Jubileumspokalen program at Solvalla offered an undercard with outstanding harness racing  performances.   The Big Noon-Pokalen (three and four year olds, 300,000SEK to the winner, 1640 meters voltstart distance handicap, 12 starters) went to 2.44/1 Ecurie D (3m Infinitif-To Soon-Muscles Yankee) that scored for Bjorn Goop, trainer Frode Hamre and owner/breeder Jean Pierre Dubois. Ecurie D,. bred in Denmark, won for the sixth time in an many starts this year and for the career.   His earnings are now 670,000SEK. Race time was 1.12.2kr. Upset Face (3m Joke Face-Iona LB-Supergill) was second driven by Lutfi Kolgjini and third was 20 meter handicapped four year old Zabul FI (4m Ganymede-Sale del Rio- Varenne). Propulsion (8m Muscle Hill-Danae) off as the 5/10 favorite, rallied off third outer cover to easily win Saturday’s Aby Stora Pris. The gallant veteran Ringostarr Treb (9m Classic Photo-Farsalo Egral-Supergill), off at 5.6/1, took tonight’s Hugo Abergs Memorial at Jagersro, Sweden (purse 303,128€, 1609 meters autostart, 10 starters) with pilot Wilhelm Paal aboard for trainer Jerry Riordan and owner EVAM Racing Trotter SRLS, his second 2019 victory in five starts. Paal left the car rapidly and then yielded to Uza Josselyn that set the pace until past the 1200-meter mark. Then, Paal took chase of the leader, eventually wore her down and opened an advantage in the upper stretch. The 7/10 favorite Propulsion (6m Muscle Hill-Danae-Andover Hall), with Orjan Kihlstrom driving, then closed rapidly from eighth on the far outside to fall a length short at the line. 34/1 Pastore Bob (6g From Above-Estrada OR-Supergill) was third for Mika Forss and trainer Johan Untersteiner. Ringo raced barefoot to score his 32nd career victory in 92 starts now for 15,143,364SEK in life earnings. On post-interview trainer Riodan said Ringo is not what he once was but he is aging gracefully and he knew he was ready tonight after a first 500 meters in 1.05.5kr. II International harness racing event raced over 1640 meters autostart for 600,000SEK first money.   The Danish registered, French bred Uza Josselyn scored in an impressive 1.09.3kr with Erik Adielsson up for Ecurie Rhythm & Blues and trainer Rene Aebischer.   Uza, off at 4.7/1, recorded her 30 th career win in 66 starts for 11,202,383SEK earned. She bested 4.1/1 Nadal Broline (9g Yankee Glide-Aimee’s Promise-American Winner) with Bjorn Goop up and 19.5/1 Lionel (9m Look de Star-Aurora Sign-Smok’n Lantern) reined by owner Goran Antonsen. June 29, 2019 - Aetnos Kronos (3m Bold Eagle-Will If A Woman-Muscles Yankee) rallied late for a nose victory in the E3 Final at Eskilstuna, a harness racing Gr. I International event. Race timed was 1.11.8kr for the winner that now has a 3-1-4 slate in nine career starts. Orjan Kihlstom teamed the winner to this record performance for trainer Jerry Riordan and the Snyder-Aetnos ownership. First prize was 1,000,000SEK in this 2140 meters autostart contest. Aetnos Kronos trailed sixth for much of the way before making a three-wide surge on the backstretch of the second lap. Off at 3.7/1 he wore down the 4.8/1 odds leader Bythebook (3g Googoo Gaagaa-Stellar Value-Viking Kronos) reined by Erik Adielsson for trainer Svante Bath. June 15, 2019 - Propulsion (8m Muscle Hill-Danae) took Boden’s harness racing featured Norbottens Stora Pris (Gr. I International UET Masters, 2140 meters autostart, 10 entrants) clocked in 1.11.7kr with Orjan Kihlstrom aboard. Daniel Reden trains the Stall Zet stallion that won for the 35th time in 71 career starts now for 26,439,062SEK earned. The total purse today was 1.75SEK million with 1,000,000SEK to the winner. Propulsion defeated Makethemark (6m Maharajah-Global Naughty) reined by Ulf Ohlsson. Third finishing was Muscle Hustle (6m Muscle Mass-Crown Laurel) with trainer Robert Bergh driving.
