Cleangame (7g Ouragon de Celland-Red Bell) took this week’s finale of the Grand National du Trot Paris-Turf series at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes. Off at 1.4/1 from post 15 this J-M Bazire trainee was handled by Eric Raffin for Ecurie J-M Rancoule as he recorded his 30th victory in 47 starts now for 1,130,220€ earned. The Gr. II finale carried a purse of 130,000€and was race raced over 2850 meters with the winner handicapped 50 meters. He was clocked in 1.11.5kr over 2900 meters and drew off late after a mighty surge to the front. The 28/1 Eclat de Gloire (5g Tiego d’Etang) was second for trainer/driver Loris Garcia. The 17/1 Calska de Guex (7f Pomerol de Laumac) took third for trainer Bazire and reinsman David Thomain. 74/1 Belle Louis Mabon and 79/1 Baron du Bourg completed the top five and set up the exact order Q+ payoff of 141,910.80€ earned by 12 winning ticketholders. Ahead this Sunday at Vincennes is the second “B” with the Prix du Boubonnais raced over 2850 meters for 110,000€. 18 starters included Bold Eagle with Eric Raffin up for Sebastien Guarato. Guarato will have four at the start also including the veteran mare Billie de Montfort. J-M Bazire will start five and he will drive Belina Josselyn. The field of 16 upper class campaigners raced over 2100 meters autostart. Colonel, off as the 9/10 favorite, was timed in 1.11.3kr for trainer/driver Jean-Michel Bazire and breeder/owner Ecurie des Charmes, his 16th career victory in 65 outings now for 488,700€ earned. He has two wins and a second in his last three appearances. The 21/1 Detroit Castelets (6m Neoh Jiel) was second for David Thomain and 7/2 Tessy D’Ete (7f Ganymede) was third for Franck Nivard. It was the 73rd edition of this classic race contested over 1600 meters autostart.  The winning campaigner was clocked in 1.16.9kr to defeat Ula Pisaia Trgf (6f Ghibellinoi-Estasivi-American Winner) reined by Antonio Greppi. Third home was the Antonio DiNardo teamed Pocohontas-Diamant (8f Look de Star-Lanira Dei). The dam also produced great trotter On Track Piraten (see below) and this winner recorded his first career victory in five outings.  The 5.1/1 Armani Decato (2g Raja Mirchi-Miss America-Lindy Lane) was second with Erik Adielsson up for trainer Svante Bath. 3.3/1 Global Badman (2m Yield Boko-Karalta Bye Bye-Donato Hanover) was third for trainer/driver Daniel Wajersten. On the Jagersro undercard Campo Bahia (4m Muscle Hill-American Dream AT-Extreme Dream) took the Johan Jacobsons Minne timed in 1.12.3kr over 2140 meters. November 23, 2019 - The 4.6/1 odds Milady Amok (6f Scarlet Knight-Balett Amok-Defi d’Aunou) took the Saturday harness racing featured Coktail Jet SIJ (purse 600,000Huf 1960 meters distance handicap) timed in 1.18.9kr after overcoming a 40-meter handicap. Csaba Lakatos teamed the winner. The 40-meter penalized Milliondollar Lux (13m Ganymede-Dadaumpa Jet-Supergill) was second for Emese Veser at 5.1/1 and 2.5/1 Unique Vil (6m Conway Hall-Deborah H-Park Avenue Joe) overcame a 20-meter penalty to be third, with Roland Balogh aboard. Earlier in the card 10.3/1 odds Blue Moon (2m Calypso Capar-Norah Jones-Zador) took a two-year old event timed in 1.22.3kr over 1800 meters for a 400,000Huf purse. He moved first up the then leading Sonia (8f Donato Hanover-Ele Code-Uronometro) with Rene Legati up, putting that rival away and drawing clear to a two-length victory. II Prix de Bretagne. Timed in 1.12.7kr over the 2700 meter course the winner earned 49,500€ of the 110,000€ purse in this contest with the top three .gaining entrance for the Prix d'Amerique. The winner earned his 12th career victory in 36 starts now for 899,410€ in life earnings. The 13/1 Chica de Joudes (7f Jag de Bellouet-Queschua Love) held second for Alain Laurent and 4.4/1 Looking Superb (6m Orlando Vici-Classical Pine) was a very game third with Alexandre Abrivard up for trainer Bazire, this one traveling most of way on the outer, near the leader.
