Today’s Ulf Thoresen Grand International (purse to winner 250,000Nok, 2100 meters autostart, 10 starters) at Jarlsberg, Travbane in Norway, went to the impressive Ble du Gers (9g Quinoa du Gers-Moorea-Baccarat du Pont) timed in 1.11.9kr and reined by Vidar Hop. The Frode Hamre trainee is owned in France by J.M. Rancoule and was developed by J.M. Bazire, and the win was his third in 2020 and 23 in his 74 race career. His earnings are now 9.966,344Nok. He was off at 4.35/1 odds. Ble du Gers made a three wide rush to the lead with about 400 meters remaining and it was no contest thereafter. Zseneroz (5f SJs Photo-Hitelezo-Witsends Speedy) won heat two in 1.19.1kr and was second in summary for pilot Andor Angyal. Third in summary was Ujrazz! (7m Maximus Lindy-Gyorsulji) that was third in both heats for reinsman Laszlo Kolozsi. This reporter vividly remember seeing him win at the Pinehurst matinee trotting under 2:00 on their sand half mile track. He then went to Europe where he won the Copenhagen Cup and Finlandia AJO. He bred numerous offspring in many countries especially in the US, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Norway.       One of those greats was SJs Caviar (SJs Photo-Spawning-TV Yankee) that so far has produced 1,829 registered foals and many champions and he is 22 years young. June 27, 2020 - Today’s Gr. I International Kymi Grand Prix (UET Masters Series, 2100 meters autostart, nine starters with the scratch of Racing Mange) at Kouvola Finland, went to Vitruvio (6m Adrian Chip-Tigre OM-Xebu) reined by harness raqcing trainer Bjorn Goop for Scuderia Pink and Black Srl. He was timed in 1.11.6kr and was on the front fairly early taking the lead for then leading stablemate Moni Viking (7m Maharajah-Jeunesse Doree-Coktail Jet) and reinsman Pierre Vercruysse that ended third. Vitruvio, off at 1.3/1 on the PMU network, won for first time in 2020 from five starts and he now sports 18 career wins in 47 starts for 1,355,820€ earned. Second went to stalking Cokstile (7m Quite Easy-Joystile-Coktail Jet) that was a shork neck short for Christoffer Eriksson. Fourth home was Handsome Brad (7m Brad de Veluwe-Ulrica M-Red Xing). Ble du Gers (9g Quinoa du Gers) was fifth for Jos Verbeeck after racing on the outer throughout and sixth was Antonio Tabac (8m Crazed) that was blocked on the pegs after first being in the pocked. III Prix Paul Delanie (purse 75,000€, monte, 2850 meters European eligibles); Vincennes June 30 – Gr. II Prix Paul Leguerney (purse 85,000€, 2700 meters, four year olds); Vincennes June 30 – Gr.
