II Prix Ville de Cherbourg (purse €120,000, 2175 meters, seven starters) saw 2.3/1 second choice and 7.4/1 Ducato Bourbon disqualified for breaks, enabling 7/10 favorite Django Riff to hold on for a narrow victory. This three year-old colt by Ready Cash-Rasta Perrine was handled by Yoann Lebourgeois for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Elisabeth Allaire, clocked in 1.13.5kr. 25/1 Dahlia du Rib (3m Oyonnax-Passiflore du Rib) rallied for second reined by J.L.Cl Dersoir. The Philippe Allaire trainee is owned by Elisabeth Allaire and he recorded his fifth win in the last eight appearances. Another Allaire stable stalwart Dollar Macker (3m Saxo de Vandel-Salt Lake City) was a solid second at 3/1 for J-Ph Monclin for owner Olivier Henri Thomas. 20.1/1 Ducato Bourbon (3m Love You-Kamera Bourbon) was a fast closing third for Franck Nivard, trainer Franck Leblanc and owner Ecurie Siray.
