The first son of champion pacer The Panderosa, holder of a string of world records, to be imported to Australia, Town Champion is lining up for his second season at Stallion Station’s West Australian base, Lark Hill Vets, Serpentine.

A hard-hitting pacer throughout his career, Town Champion competed against Grand Circuit and Free-for-all company winning 14 races and recording five sub 1:50 race-winning miles. He met and defeated the best horses of his age including Holborn Hanover, Maltese Artist, Dr No and Eaton Road Hill.

Town Champion belongs to a noted female line, his dam, the Big Towner mare Town Sweetheart, a former Canadian Broodmare of the Year, being also the dam of the highly successful Northern Luck.

Town Champion decends from the foundation mare Belle Mahone, this family is a noted source of sires and top racehorses including Live Or Die, Goliath Bayama and Leading X Ample Butler B.G.
