The Met Syndicates are run on behalf of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club. The Club is an authorised Syndicator under the Code of Practice regulating Standardbred Syndication which is authorised by Harness Racing New Zealand.

Being a member of a Harness Racing Syndicate is cheap and fun way to enjoy the thrill of horse ownership.

You have the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and experience first hand the fantastic sport of Harness Racing.

Each Syndicate generally starts with three horses which are purchased from the Yearling Sales. Each Syndicate has 50 members each of whom pay an up front fee which contributes to the purchase of the horses. A very reasonable monthly instalment is then required to cover training, feeding etc. If your horses perform well, you will benefit from their efforts.

WAI EYRE FARM is pleased to report that they are having one of their best seasons yet. It appears that while some stud farms are down on the number of mares that they have on farm this year, Wai Eyre appears to be bucking the trend by seeing an increase in both the number of mares on farm to foal, and also the number of mares to be bred this season.

Twisted Stick Lodge are proud to be associated with Wai Eyre Farm and with our own broodmare band this year we have had a great season with all the mares safely producing foals, and a 100% strike rate of mares back in foal due to the care and expertise of the team at Wai Eyre Farm.

This site promotes our training services and facilities, markets our yearlings for the upcoming yearling sales, and provides an information service to our owners, and prospective clients.
