We need for all to act NOW.

Our message should be: We desperately need their help to preserve the more than 40,000 jobs which will be negatively impacted unless help is forthcoming NOW.

The proposed gaming legislation is the only revenue/jobs bill out there and is needed for the state to fund capital projects, education, and health programs ...and...without the passage of legislation NOW, the state will be in jeopardy of losing BILLIONS of dollars in federal matching funds... and a vital Illinois agri-business will decline dramatically and quickly.

Every district in Illinois will suffer the loss of jobs, tax revenues from this vital industry, and displaced employees will swell the ranks of the unemployed.

HB4194 is a good bill, and with some minor necessary modifications, deserves your serious consideration.

Please help us to help ourselves and provide Illinois with this sorely needed revenue assistance. .......
