The six-year-old mare was bought off the racetrack by Stallion Station principal Gary Lyons and his wife, Susan in April last year.

Stallion Station, located at Toolern Vale, near Melbourne, is the home of Somebeachsomewhere’s world champion sire Mach Three.

Child From The Sea, who took a record of 1:56.6 as a four-year-old, is the first foal of the Beach Towel mare Wheres The Beach. She is the dam of four in 1:57 from her first four foals.

Wheres The Beach’s progeny have earned almost $1.8 million in stakes.

Unfortunately Child From The Sea slipped to Mach Three at her first mating this year. She is booked back to the Matt’s Scooter siring influence in the coming season.
